Factually, I have done no such thing,
Cattle are incapable of reason, and I have spoken of reason and being reasonable extensively in this conversation
I dont have an issue with people complaining when a character they like changes in a way they dont like
but
reasonable people make said complaints and move on, as I explained.
If one goes to Disneyland, one can complain that the lines were too long, or the rides were not fun, or the food was bad (except at Le Cellier in Epcot - get the mushroom filet, trust me) or etc but ultimately changes if any are decided upon by Disney employees. All one is guarenteed when a ticket is purchased is access to what they have to offer, not what one wishes they offered.
A reasonable customer understands this.
I dont see even a rough equivalency between an individual getting to play an enjoyable game and an individual being slaughtered.
This statement seems (to me) like high melodrama

I don’t see mercy players as much as I used too, do the dame, stop playing her until they see the pickrate.
Mercy’s still rocking it for those who know how. She’s harder than she used to be, but much more rewarding to skilled players.

the choices within the context of this game are essentially purchase or not purchase it, and then if this first choice is to purchase, the following choice is to play it or not play it as Blizzard defines it to be - a definition which can change at any time

I agree, I was just commenting because this person tried to make use of the word cattle as a shock word to try and prove a point which is just annoying

Why should they value you, ONE consumer, over EVERYONE else? You’re so selfish!

I’ve seen a bunch people say that we’re selfish. It’s an arugment that gets thrown around a lot regarding people who want the original Mercy. I just don’t see it. The fact that we’re even voluntarily picking the role of a support and lingering in the backline to allow you guys to have more fun without dying isn’t selfish.
I stopped playing the game for nearly a year, during that time I still wanted Blizzard to revert Mercy regardless of whether I was playing. The change wouldn’t have affected me but I still strived for it because I truly believe it’s what’s best for the players.
Blizzard never, ever admit when they screw things up. They keep up this front of “everything is fine” no matter how much the entire community is frustrated. Look at literally all of their games. They always “know best”. It would set such a huge precedent for the company as a whole and the game itself to even humor the idea of revert. Just mention the possibility to see the reaction! See if people start returning to talk about it and see just how many people want it! It would bring hope for players who have given up and take a step in the right direction towards bettering Overwatch.
