is this the type of standards we have today for what is considered a decent streamer
I’m sure another chill streamer that don’t care if you’re posting troll memes etc, maybe try looking at some smaller streamers, there’s gotta be somebody. The most entertaining person I found was actually a Streamer who gets under 20 people imo deserves a lot more
I typically bear the flag for the kids, so I’ll give a counter perspective on that. Every generation verifiably since the 1920’s has thought that, so we’re going to have to go pretty far back to get to a point when people haven’t felt like the next generation was the end of civilization.
Things that were valued get easier, and eventually become trivial. Look at the people who are calling themselves artists because they drop a phrase into an AI art generator, and people buy that. We could say, sure, education in the arts has dropped to a point possibly worse than the middle ages, but that doesn’t mean things as a whole have gotten easier. Values have just changed, and with those values, people with skill and determination will rise above those who don’t have those. The Beatles are insipid compared to the greatest composers of all time, but look how many people worship them.
Being a successful streamer isn’t easy. I couldn’t do what XqC does, even if he’s a blithering idiot. His job is a toxic minefield of all day grinds that are going to hurt psychologically and in terms of health. I would not want that job. The people we look at and are disgusted with for making millions for doing nothing are less than 1% of 1% of people. If we judge society by them, we are, and have always been, lost.
People care about different things than they did before, but god help me the number of times I’ve heard someone call the 1980’s the height of music. It was a wasteland of bubblegum pop garbage with a couple good songs. 40 years from now, the 2020’s will be the same. It isn’t that this generation is garbage, it’s just that the things once valued no longer are. Time marches on.
Wasnt he also racist? I remember that freedom got him in trouble. Delusional manchild
XQC is a complete waste of space
Literally this. Also, how tf does XQC have an audience when Ussylis got cancelled? Like, what? He’s literally a worse version of him.
Dude, Spilo does hot werewolf daddy roleplay ASMR or something like that. I promise you, no one cares. Also, “sus”? Are you five?
good ol dbd pre-BHVR interactive .
I loved that game when it first came out. I played it over and over for 8-10 hours a day. Fun game. (at the time).
The devs putting in hatch closing was an IQ5000 idea, and really ruined the tension in the game between both sides.
Favorite “Bad guy” : The Doctor.
Original 2 items: High Stimulus Electrode and Interview tape.
Nobody could touch generators and make repairs .
Because dbd is a game that lets you be super chill and still win once you have like 1000 hours, which is nothing. The laziest and most annoying content creators are still super chill in dbd.
Is it bad that I kind of want to see someone do that while playing ow? How would that even work I need to know
No, it stopped hour long stalling because of stupidity. I’m a day one dbd player with 11k hours, and hatch closing has remained their best decision to this day.
I’m realizing I have been an old man most of my life
My young self would have hated this nonsense as much if not more than my old self
I don’t miss trolls or troll behavior, no. These forums have improved a LOT in that regard. Pre-OW2 and the few months after OW2 this place was full of trolls, luckily most have been banned since then.
I’m not a fan of either really but at least XQC doesn’t pretend to be smart & doesn’t have the most cringe holier than thou know it all attitude like Hassan
Oh, I do too.
I only know he does it because I saw a clip of someone asking for it and he told them he would if something happened(Can’t remember what).
sorry just no. IMO it was for Cry-more “bad guys” that were mad because bad.
(If they were good, they woulda found the last player before hatch was available).
It ultimately was a bad game idea because when they did put in closing of the hatch, they still did remove the mechanic which allowed “hatch grabbing”. Which could have been changed right then and there before that mechanic.
if I couldn’t hunt down the last survivor it punished me for not doing my job right.
Which is why when they made the change to prop up bad players, Its like handing the "bad guy’ a participation trophy award. Same with lame AF mechanics like BBQ and Chili, Nurses calling and their creation of “The spirit”. they propped up no-skill players for the sake of rank inflation, instead of putting the boot down and making players actually get GOOD at the game, the last owners, which did. All DBD is now, is a “feelz good game” with gymnastics. its not hardcore hide from "bad guy’ game.
Overwatch should take some notes from the original owners of that game. Which is stop catering to people that cross their arms, and go “oh gee the game you made, um yah um, im not going to play this game because I dont like what you originally created, and I wont stream it unless you change it for me.”….
All I can say is. GL playing Water Temple on Ocarina of Time (cartridge game) and speed running it.
Its time for game devs to tell people “love it or leave”. Release the game. make DLC and call it a day. or make a new title and sell it again.
No, they wouldn’t. Dbd is very, very easy to hide in. Hatch was always a luck game.
Because hatch grabbing was ALSO stupid. If you get to the hatch as survivor, despite being slower and having to hide/loop your way there, you should by all rights escape.
It’s really not
How is BBQ lame? People only ever used it for the blood points. Now that it doesn’t give them, no one uses it. Same for WGLF. If you actually complained about BBQ, you literally just sucked at looping, which is one of the two skills survivor offers.
Nurses calling is literally skill checks as a perk. You’re punished for healing near mobility killers, but you have time to stop before they see you. Nurses was always the most fair perk in the game.
Spirit is still barely viable in high level play and has only ever gotten nerfed. Skill issue.
Skill in dbd is time played, that’s it. I’ve had a 100% winrate for about two years because I have a ton of hours and main Nurse. Supaalf is the same.
Dbd was only about hiding before looping was discovered. Hiding is skilless, boring gameplay. The game isn’t designed around it, and it’s always been a less powerful alternative to looping for people that weren’t skilled enough to win mind games. Looping was always a possibility, it just became the main option when people learned how hitboxes worked. That’s not the devs changing the game, it’s people getting good enough to use optimal tactics. Looping in DBD is equivalent to ult tracking and high ground in OW. You not being able to adapt is a you problem.
1 ) Hatch was already spawned in at the start of every match for many patches. You could find it in the level with map items, sometimes it would glitch the map item and you could find where it COULD spawn, and other times you could “accidentally” find where it was going to render in at.
2 ) hatch grabbing was a lame. one design flaw.
3 ) absolutely YES. the gate opening mechanic not being altered and the fact that if the game spawns the gates at a “V” pattern. means the match is a loss regardless. if your team flubs early game.
4 ) Yeah BBQ is not for the points (I’ve heard this excuse a billion times). Everyone used it as a “radar perk” wall hax, because they didn’t use logical guess work to decide where a player was located at after hooking a player. It also ruined good set-ups for rescues for trolls that camped hooks. “bad guys” wanted it because then they knew if the other team was staging a rescue or not. it gives too much information and was only put in for BAD players. sorry.
5 ) OG NC was another radar perk for revealing settups for hook rescues.
6 ) OG spirit was. RANK 1s complained about her at launch.
7 ) If you are good at spirit, props. i’d love to see YT videos. about 3% of the playerbase have Nurse mastered
8 ) they had to put in more pallets and jungle gyms because people didn’t want to work with using concealment and found it boring. Originally hiding in the dark and making small plays was the way to play it. impatient players brought on the jungle gym meta.
And it still is.
But finding it was still completely up to luck.
Sounds like a skill issue. Don’t flub the early game.
It is, which is why everyone but a few Huntress and Nurse mains dropped it when it got nerfed.
It’s not hard to do this without auras, and you can do a ton of things to negate the perk.
It doesn’t show auras within 40 meters. Good positioning meant the killer literally didn’t know where to go. Work on a gen within 40 meters and the killer has to choose between looking around the hook and leaving.
OG Spirit was nerfed to the ground very, very fast. She was never a crutch because she wasn’t even in the game long enough.
Sure. All of my dbd videos I have right now are me being super rusty though, since OW became my main game.
This is my first game on dbd after a month long break just playing OW.
No, they had to put in more because hiding wasn’t viable and looping was too limited.
When people didn’t know how to play yet. Looping was a thing within two months of the game coming out for a reason. The devs made the game with looping in mind, which is why hitboxes in DBD work the way they do.
Funny how you failed on your first bait calling me a hassan viewer and now you’re just trying to troll in other ways, but you do you chief
Also it doesn’t take a genius to make an educated guess on the type of person they are and how they are leeches of content, bringing nothing of value to the original work they “react” to
Didn’t care for him as a player / his personality.
Respected his skill and opinion once in awhile.
In particular his dismantle of that 1 mercy video talking about how to counter her by clicking her head? That was a good one. Whoever that was straight up deleted their video in response.
What bait? What troll? You made a really ignorant comment about someone off of a few, short, out-of-context clips and I pointed it out.
Oh but it certainly does make you a donkey. Y’know, assumptions and all that.
