I lose 90% of games I don’t play Tracer

And according to OverSumo, I’m better than 90% of players in Diamond (showing a Master rank though?) with a slew of heroes.

But, people on console can’t deal with Tracer for whatever reason. I can effectively carry as her. Anyone else? No go. I like McCree, but he doesn’t have mobility. Any slight positional mistake and you’re done for.

Anyway, my point… why can’t people play their roles. My tanking has improved 10% (according to the app), my Zenyatta, Lucio, Brigitte, and Moira are better than most (according to the app), and yet … if I don’t do DPS as Tracer specifically, I can pretty much stamp myself a loss in QP.

I guess what I’m saying is… ISO great flex teammates who make playing heroes other than Tracer more enjoyable.

I’m assuming the fact Tracer zips erratically makes turning the camera with an analogue stick to try and hit her harder.
I know if I’m faced with Tracer I anticipate having to swing the mouse more than usual to try and catch her in sight. (Same with Doomfist and Pharah)

I’m probably wrong, haven’t experienced it on console

It’s much MUCH harder to try to aim at a Tracer zipping around with a stick over a mouse

She’s actually one of the more adaptable hero’s that feel good w a controller.

Granted no one else can hardly kill you on console but.

I do it all the time, and Jellys is pretty good if I do say so myself😂

I just max out my sensitivity. Makes playing her way easier and more effective.

Personally I find tracer pretty easy to play granted I have around 15 to 17 hours on her but it’s not hard aiming with her on console

I’d hate to see your winrate on other heroes if you only have a 56% winrate on Tracer lol.

Don’t read too heavily into oversumo. The thing people fail to realize with that app is that players in those upper ranks have to face other players in that same rank. The competition is much stiffer, and so their stats take a hit. Just because your stats equal theirs means very little. If they were facing people in your rank, their stats would be way higher than they are.

Just don’t worry about being better than other players, or having nice stats. Focus on improving as a player and focus on winning.

Fragehardt: I do. Being a better player and focusing on winning is how you reach that pecentile in the first place.

I’ve heard since console has aim assist if a Tracer goes in for close range shots it helps a lot on console.

All consoles have aim assist built in, and virtually all are being overrun by people using emulators for KBM…so, console is garbage comp.

Answer is simple. You dont suck. Your team does. Same is an issue for me. I dont play DPS (This is my training account, to train DPS) since Im a tank and Support main. And, according to that app. My Mercy was 198% better then other players. High stat. (Stopped using now since its bugged for some reason) and my tanks were about 100 and more. But Im stuck in Plat while I deserve higher rank. Teammates.

  1. No Talks
  2. No Communication
  3. One Trick (They might be good but they go bad if countered)
  4. Resist listening. (We need another Tank/Healer. Perhaps Moira or Reindhart) “I CANT!! I DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY” Sometimes they will but be damn pessimistic or don’t actually do anything.
  5. Its even worst if you are matched with a duo or against one. Sometimes they will have good dps with a mercy being carried, or it will be your team, Your mercy pocketing their friend although they cant aim or carry.

I eat tracers when i play mccree.
What i see the most on console is that they’ll stun the tracer and FtH instead of headshotting, and then the tracer gets away and then kills the mccree due to his playstyle.
When I verse tracer, i play dumb at the start so she thinks she can go in for the one-clip, then I flash and headshot her when in range.

exactly on console most tracers are not used to baiting flash because they rely to heavily on the mcree not being good

that’s the point, as most think that just because they have a small hitbox means they can’t get hit, so you exploit their flaw and kill them
