It’s not speculation at all. As someone who plays primarily only Tank or Support I can flat out promise you I will never queue for either role in OW2. Since they only want this game to be fun for DPS why would I bother. Most of my tank and support pals say the same. So I’d say prepare for super crap matches as we all learn DPS (and they refuse to have match making skill appropriate) and super long queue times.
You can’t alienate 1/3 of the hero pool and not expect blow back. And from what we have seen as their idea of adjusting supports… I think you might be in for some pretty disappointing results once the shiney wears off that first day excitement.
We surely haven’t seen enough to be certain of much but one thing I am pretty darn certain of is this is NOT the game Jeff Kaplan envisioned and since he was the driving force behind the original success of this game. I have very little hope for OW2.
