I have lost all my progress

I have been playing overwatch since around 2017 on playstation.
Today I logged into my account on the pc version of Overwatch 2 and found out all my progress from the first game was gone. I double checked on battle.net to see if my Playstation account was linked to it and it has been linked for a while, but I never merged it. So when I updated and logged into the Playstation version, my account was just as bare as the pc version, but I checked on my account profile and Playstation has kept all my progress from Overwatch 1 with all the trophies from the first game, and I still have all the friends I have added on Overwatch 1 through Playstation, on my Overwatch 2 account on Playstation. But the progress on my account on both platforms are completely wiped.
Both the PC and Playstation has the «account merge» button but NOTHING happens when I click it. All my progress is gone, from both my Playstation and my PC.
I’ve spent so many hours on this game and so much of my childhood and now it’s all gone. I’m really hoping they fix this soon cause they got me crying rn.

I have this exact situation as well. I’ve had OW since the first day it launched. The last I played OW was in April on PS5. Then I tried on launch day for OW2 and was stuck in queue. I tried yesterday and found I had no progress despite the accounts linked. I checked my PS5 this morning and all progress has been wiped. I even had 29 loot boxes I hadn’t even opened yet. No, heroes, no skins, no progress. If I don’t get my stuff back I’m just simply never gonna play the game.

Tl;dr: You have not lost any items or progress, though some players are logging in and seeing some/all elements missing from their collection.

In all cases, no player data has been wiped or lost. We have a client-side fix for this that cannot be deployed until next week, so we are exploring server-side fixes and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Its so sad . We Hope that they Will bring us our stuff , 6 years playing that Game. If they dont do It , i wont play no more
