i told someone to go switch in quickplay, i have become one of those sweaty comp players in quickplay treating it like competitive

You know, even in QP if my team run Rat/Venture and the opponent use Pharmercy & Cowboy i may ask them to swap.
QP is for fun right? That mean why only the opposing team have the right to have all the fun for themselves… while we suffer being bombed 24/24 waiting for any fun to happen to us.
Look at us supports players, we auto swap into Moira/Bap when the invisible devil start to get all the fun for herself. Because it is your right to have fun too.
Be proactive: actively try to get your fun, swap really if needed.

I always do that, if someone is really getting on my nerves. But then again, I play a LOT of heroes so I switch from one hero I like to another hero I like to counter them.

You want(ed) to destroy those who tell people to switch in QP? Seems pretty mild compared to the other stuff people say.
I had a pretty hilarious match yesterday where my DF tank, and his mercy pocket, started flaming the team for not doing enough. For context, it was Junkertown, they had a Hog who was able to press W all match uncontested, and a good widow who for some reason Doom refused to dive.
So we couldnt stop the main lane cause of Hog, and we couldnt peek cuz of the widow. All while the DF and mercy were on a random side of the map flaming us for not doing enough.
The other two teammates left the match. I just died a bunch, and hung out emoting with the enemy team at the end. The enemy supports knew what was up and said gg to me specifically afterwards.
The moral of the story: its QP, and people are idiots. Some, like me, find it amusing and try to enjoy themselves anyway. Trying to reason with anyone in that mode isnt worth the effort. Just have fun however you can imo.
