I have a question about Overwatch statistics

I am wondering what the statistic of reports are and if they are listed somewhere.

I want to know:

• Average number of reports in a given day
• The break down in categories in said reports (we all know behavior is number 1)
• The ratio of false reports vs valid reports (ie: Reports that led to actions against the account.

I don’t want personal information. Just curious about the numbers.

Aside from periodical reports from Korea that provides a list of users in their region that has been banned, Blizzard does not typically like to reveal intimate details of account actions or reporting. The more information that is revealed about the reporting system or actions being issued gives dishonest players the knowledge and means to alter their behavior to avoid getting reported and still be disruptive in games.

That being said there have been recent developer video updates and dev posts that show rough figures on how much of an impact we have made ever since report notifications have been made and how much of an impact the endorsement system has made in our games.

Our Global Insights group just finished parsing some stats as it relates to LFG and Endorsements.

Post release of Endorsements and LFG:

The % of Competitive Matches that Contain Abusive Chat is down:

26.4% in the Americas
16.4% in KR

The % of Daily Players being Abusive is down:

28.8% in the Americas
21.6% in KR
