I hate Pharah so much

So if your Team has someone on McCree, which usually McCree is meta, and so is Ball and Dva and so is Ana and Baptiste and Moira and you’re having issues.

How?

Who do you want to play exactly Brig?

So you swap to Mercy or what

McCree 6.12% Pick Rate this month Comp

Pharah 1.78% Pick Rate this month in Comp

Where is the problem…

“Pharah must be 0.0178% Pick Rate before McCree is Playable!”

They literally always nerf hitscans (justifiably so) and then leave pharah alone like she isn’t going to become way better after they nerf her only real counters  She just sits in the sky box now with mercy and gets peppered by the falloff nerf. So the entire game is just “can your hitscan land enough shots to kill her?” I love it when the entire outcome of the match is just determined on one or 2 people… in a team game…

And they are not going Bap/D.Va? lol

Junkrat is a higher Pick Rate than Pharah in Competitive for the Month.
How long ago was this that everyone fell into tears over this Update?

ever since the hitscan nerf was announced on experimental, Pharah is seeing some more playtime now and a lot of people are unhappy about it

People say she is “OP” now but I really can’t see it

How long ago was that Update cuz Overbuff showing past Week that Pharah is bottom of the barrel in Pick Rate…

Errr, I believe exactly 4 weeks ago can’t remember lol. I only remember the tons of “pharah will be OP” threads lol

Literally nobody is playing Pharah in Competitive. Her Pick Rate is 1.78% for the Month and 1.90% for the Week. I mean how much LESS does everyone insist she be played 0.00001% until happiness?.. smh

These complaints are absurd

her pickrate in the high ranks went up by like 2% when the patch first came out, then it dropped back to what it was before lol

Agreed completely, OP (when it comes to Pharmercy, that is at least).

Pharmercy especially is such a clear example of a terribly - designed, low skill - high reward (and now, oppressive) combo because it not only requires the enemy to be at the very least competent at Hitscans, which therefore crosses out the entirety of low ranks (don’t even get me started on console environments) from being able to counter the combo, therefore creating a major design problem in the meantime.

And even if the enemy can play Hitscan competently, the amount of skill required to play said sub - role cannot even be remotely compared to that required to run Pharmercy in the first place (which is composed of one of, if not the easiest - to - play hero in the entire game and Pharah, who can get so much value from mindless projectile spam that it’s crazy).

mercy needs a nerf not phara.

I find it pretty easy to counter Pharah with ASHE. Ashe still has decent range and Pharah is easy to hit, if you are practicing aim every now and then.
You can hit Mercy with dynamite and frag her if you are more advanced, but even just clicking on Pharah works every time.

No shít this game is about countering what do you expect…

It used to, back in 2018 but then Forced 222 came in and RQ, then it wasnt.

The problem is that for some reason, DPS are always to blame on EVERYTHING, so when theres a Pharah+Mercy destroying your team, people think that ONE hitscan DPS will magically solve the problem … and if you dont, you are the one to blame.

Pharah needs several hitscans on the team. 1 DPS, 1 Support and ideally 1 tank, like Ball. Otherwise, her team will focus on annoying/kill the hitscan and she will reign free.

This doesnt happen with most of the heroes. Only with her and a great Widow.

Personally I think pharah is fine on her own. Shes annoying, but chip damage builds and forces her to frequently disengage.

PharMERCY on the other hand can go screw itself. Horrible combo that could straight up he banned and I’d be fine with it.
