I was playing ranked and I went in as a PLAT 2 support. After 5 wins, I went down to GOLD 2. This should not be possible to de-rank an ENTIRE rank. After the next 5 wins, I was then de-ranked to GOLD 5. This again should not be possible to triple de-rank. Please fix this issue.

You are not alone in experiencing this bug. Assuming your win-loss ratio is positive, you might be experiencing the bug in which during a rerank, your initial rank is demoted five subdivisions before the adjustment takes place. If you can, could you record your bugged rank adjustment, making sure that at some point in the video it shows your pre-adjustment rank, either from the queue menu or the career profile, and link that video to the thread? Any help in spreading the word about this megathread would be greatly appreciated.
BUMP. Still a problem.
I just reported this. it happened like 3 times now and I thought I was imagining it. but it just happened again and I remember clearly happenning. I believe I was at like 2 losses and 5 wins. and the last 3 games were consecutive wins. Yet I went from Plat 3 to plat 1. Now this is strange because I was at diamond 3 and yet the game thought I was at plat 3. I hope they fix this and give us compensation for it because it has happened multiple times before and dropping an entire tier??? like that’s just dumb.
