paladins always feels real clunky and unoptimized. weird hitboxes and movement. still dont mind it tho, play it once in a while and its a cool game. doesnt hold a candle to overwatch’s fluidity and optimization tho

I played that game a lot years ago. At least 1000 hours in. It got pretty stale for me after so long. Now I’d rather still play OW

Some people will sit around here and complain about this game but then when someone mentions a rival game feeling pretty good right now, they dismiss it and insist they’re happy with OW. It’s like the Xbox vs PS rivalry.

Yeah that was what put me off of it for so long, but it kinda grows on you! Look at Io and Maeve and tell me they aren’t just adorable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Doesn’t paladins have it’s own forums where you can say this? I’m not saying you aren’t entitled to your own opinion or anything but I still really enjoy OW and have no intention of switching to paladins lol

And have been since 2017. And it looks like it won’t be finished until 2023.

That’s SIX years for a game that already has a framework in its original. It also means very little content for people that still play OW1.

Many people may not know but 5-6 years is an extremely long time to make a game. 6 years is like, the top of a generation triple A super detailed polished game. Witcher 3 didn’t require 4 years to make. I think Ghosts of Tsushima took 6 years. Elden Ring was in development since 2017 and is being released in the near future and just look at that game!
Starfield, if released this time next year, will be in development for 4 years.

So the fact that its been 5 years of development for OW2 and they still haven’t even finished balancing/reworks for PvP, not finished with PvE, etc. That’s why people have been asking, “What have they been doing for the past 4-5 years?”.

Yes, yes, I know. Single player games vs multiplayer games can be apples and oranges. Its just to illustrate a point.

But in Overwatch you get everything for free

yeah its taking a long time, everyone knows that.

If paladins did update their game engine i might actually be interested. new heroes wont cut it though, id play ow indefinitely over paladins if they never do that

its still dated as hell, it doesnt matter how many heroes they have.

People that come here know about paladins fyi. if we wanted to play it we would! you dont have to try and recruit us every day with paladins threads

Paladins is probably the worst option lmao. 7k players average and declining, you’re playing an even deader game than Overwatch, Paladins is on par with how dead Fall Guys is. You’d have a much better time playing TF2 lmao.

For you maybe. Personally paladins has never been a fun game to into and I would much rather get into valorant or splitgate. Its really just opinion

You dont have to, they aint forcing you to do anything, dont act like you are forced to do it on Paladins.
