Death by Big Fluffly Dog

The cat has changed greatly since OW1

Why does Ana look like she’s thinking about not giving that cat back?? :joy:

So… Fox Hero from Kanezaka and Brig are a couple?

Ah, so you have chosen the painful route. I’ll tell you what I can.

  1. Do not overly rely on Sentry. Use it mainly for eliminating enemy Tanks and their barriers. Recon is usually better for fighting off closer range DPS.

  2. Tank mode is better used as a “clean up” Ultimate (as in, use after enemy barriers are broken and crucial cooldowns have been used) than an engagement one. For obvious reasons.

  3. Positioning is key. Don’t set up in the same spot for every fight. Or the enemies will adapt to your location and take advantage of it. Force them to struggle with you moving each time.

  4. Team composition is crucial. Granted, your DPS partner usually isn’t too important to consider, but you would ideally want at least one barrier Tank, and Baptiste. But you don’t have to stay next to them the entire match.

  5. As stated above, you don’t need to stay directly next to your teammates 24/7. Try to set up at odd angles on the sides of the path to your enemy’s objective. That way you’ll likely see them first and get some good damage in. But try to set up right around a corner, so you can quickly take cover if needed.

  6. Underrated, but this is crucial. If you are trying to escape lethal damage while in Recon, face the opposite direction of your threat and look downward while healing. This will better protect your head hitbox.

  7. Last of all, and probably the most important. Recognize when it’s time to switch. Bastion is niche but in the right hands can be forced in a few more situations, but there are some times where Bastion just won’t cut it. Like, if they are running Roadhog, Sigma, Tracer, Hanzo, Baptiste, Ana… I would not play Bastion.

Hopefully that helps haha, apologies for the wall of text. If you want more, reach out to me on Discord

Yeah, some heroes are just not worth trying to fight against, especially when stacked up.

But you’re welcome! And good luck!
