I find all of this game's lingo to be super cringe

Note the person who’s never had to comm in a game before.

Reason we use these short terms is because you need to relay information fast to your team mates.

“Got booped” - You’re 1. OUt of position, 2. Lucio doesn’t have his boop so you can be a bit more aggressive for example

Nobody is going to say:

“Watch out reaper has ultimate and is about to come in.” when you can go “Reaper ult care”

inting is INTentionally feeding.
I guess feeding is a general term, whether they intend to or not

Or alternatively, just giving a Zarya charge off her bubbles or giving a Mauga health by just standing there.

Brekkie? That’s an English sayin, mate. Get da hell outta my swamp. The gators are sleeping.

On another note, I sometimes refer to “software” as 'ware in shorthand when I’m in a rush. I do actually use this word. Just funny tidbits.

THAT made me laugh

It’s funny because cringe, like every other buzzword, has become so nonspecific to not mean anything anymore.

Is THAT WHAT IT MEANS?

I always thought C9 meant they walked off the objective when they had it free and woulda won otherwise, or didn’t touch it to extend the game when they could have.

??? That last one just sounds like freaking Newspeak to me. “Care?” I just shout “DIE DIE DIE, RUN” and my friends kinda pick up on my meaning

Hammy

Gaming language. Are you not a gamer, when you feel that way?

It’s used when opposite team snuck and trying to snatch the objective without anyone’s notice.

I don’t think that’s C9. C9 is because cloud 9 stepped off point in overtime live and since then it’s called “C9” when you step off point and lose.

Well you’re right. This did make me angry. Merriam Webster, I have one thing to say to you;

Thats it too. Peeps just use the term whenever they got sabotaged without notice. At least here in Asia server.

I agree, but I also agree that “ulti” is in fact “cringe”. What’s wrong with Ult?

Wait wait wait. Hold the phone, you mean (and I’m not sarcastic for once) that if the bubble isn’t on Zarya she still gets charge when it’s shot?

Huh…more you learn I guess?

Don’t get me wrong I will end up shooting the bubble no matter who it’s on, I am just that slow

Yeah. It does. Hence why I say “I fed the Zarya” or “Stop feeding the Zarya!” As I proceed to… Feed the Zarya. I tend to play big spread or AOE. Inevitable that she gets charge some way or another.

She works theoretically as a more passive tank, I think? Sit in the back, bubble your team, move up, use that damage, use a bubble on yourself, save people… Idk man. Just spitballing.

But yeah. I actually really like her in theory. I just hate playing her because I have never once wanted to play Zarya.

I respect her design in the fact that she is hard for me to play against. Any one who is can play her well …I hope is on my team

I think it started with lucio actually yelling “boop” sometimes when the soundwave hits someone.
At least i recall that happening in ow1

Brother you’re posting on a website dedicated to video games making a complaint about something entirely irrelevant to the actual gameplay. The concept of cringe is lost to you.

No I really don’t.

Cause it’s in the damn name, also not sure what games you come from cause even in League there’s a difference waaay back when I simply googled 1 trick vs main I didn’t even get results for overwatch.

1 trick is literally as it sounds what your saying and doing is actually trying to make it more complicated then what it is.

A main is simply that your “Main” I don’t even know how to describe the damn word because it’s simply that straightforward its a word you use to describe other things.

Best I can do is how “Main” is equivalent to primary i.e. you have your primary and secondary weapons, just cause you mainly use and have your primary holstered dosen’t like invalidate all your secondaries that just wouldn’t make any sense.
