I don't see how you guys can be asking for Ana nerfs

P.S ana is very “meta” right now because of the mercy changes but her pickrate will fade out a bit in plat and bellow

I don’t know… Maybe because her pickrate in GM is 14.9%.

Regardless, a hero having such a high pickrate and a positive winrate that high indicates some overtuning, or at the very least her contemporaries are trash.

All healers except Mercy are doing too much damage. They should all be reworked to not be a dps with healing abilites, but a healer with some gimmicks.

moira is easier to use and brings better heals - but no utility.
mercy is also easier to use and brings consistency - but her recent changes made it difficult for her to be the main healer.

ana brings very good heals and has an extremely powerful kit - but she’s extremely hard to play, her kit is on very long cooldowns, everything can be blocked by a barrier/DM (besides her ult), she has no mobility and has no proper self sustain.

ana in the last few seasons was never seen as a good pick, and her only recent change was the 300 HP boost to her ultimate - which i doubt was the thing that made her “op”. it was the nerf of mercy that destroyed her “must pickness” and moira’s lack of utility in higher ranks, that made ana the best option.

Her ridiculously high pickrate definitely means something. Nano’s heal is a bit too much.

And it’s pretty funny how when Mercy had even 10% pickrate the forums were on fire but when Ana hitting 14%+ in some ranks it’s completely fine because “sHe NeEdS SkiLl” even though that can be invalidated by simple peel from the co. healer and spamming shots into tanks as if it were Season 3.

Because if a healer is strong the forums will come for them. If Ana ends up getting nerfed despite not deserving it, they’ll just move onto the next.

I’m not asking for Ana nerfs, but I am getting super tired of the “takes skill” argument. Doomfist, Genji, Tracer… it goes on and on. Anytime someone suggests a nerf it comes up. It doesn’t matter. Completely irrelevant.

"Hey… the new hero can 1v6 the enemy team… well it takes skill dude! ".

Either something is balanced, or it isn’t.

That s just it. Im not saying that ana is op because she isnt, as forum user dva said “her contemporaries are trash”. The devs need to give reasons to pick moira and mercy over ana in certain situations. Meaning that moira and mercy could use a lil buff

maybe changes rather simply buffing them. I think it’s also because ana has the highest potential out of the other main healers. it might be balanced but a good ana will always top the other supports. they need to introduce a new healer imo

That’s the only thing most forum goes seem to be able to think of regarding supports when they are in a good spot.
“NERF TO OBLIVION!”

Changes implies that youd need to nerf other parts of their kit to balance them out. I think they need buffs e.g. letting moira heal thru barriers again and giving mercy 55hps. Thatll give enough reason to pick other main healers in certain situation.

Ana shouldnt always be on the top of other supports just cause she requires the most skill imo. She needs to have her own niche

thank you , say it louder for the people in the back sis!!

ana is on top of the other healers because of her utility. moira has better heals but she has nothing more to offer, ana has a slightly lower hps than moira (and can’t heal multiple targets at the same) but she has her nade and sleeping dart.

she’s on top of the other healers cause she has the highest potential (like i said before). it takes a lot of skill (not just “mechanical”) to be good at ana, and in high ranks people have that required skill - so she performs better than the other supports.

the higher the skill = the higher the reward.

and right now ana is the support with the highest skill requirements. i think they need to add another skilled healer so she’s not the only one.

Im aware that ana has more utility. Which is why i said that moira and mercy needs to be buffed in ways that they can be better picks over ana in certain situations.

I have no problem with ana being a better pick than mercy and moira on higher ranks. The problem is she s having near almost better pickrates and winrates than mercy and moira on lower ranks.

Edit: as ive said, i dont mind ana being meta in higher ranks but all heroes need to at least be viable in those ranks as well

i checked in a website with a lot of graphs and stuff (i really like it i prefer it than overbuff and stuff [omnic meta]). and her winrate seems alright in lower ranks. her pickrate is just kinda high rn cause she’s a “must pick” in high ranks so she started being a “must pick” but moira and mercy are still picked more

I’ve never met anyone who really wants Ana nerfed. I think she’s in a pretty good place. She’s strong in skilled hands, but not too strong, and borderline worthless in the wrong hands.

True but right now mercy and moira are nearly unviable in higher ranks. Im not asking for them to be meta in higher ranks but just viable

i agree they should be at least viable, but maybe it’s not that badthat some heroes are better in lower ranks. regardless I think ana being the ONLY support in high ranks isn’t good and if they’ll keep mercy/moira more suitable to play in plat and bellow, maybe they need to add another hard healer.

They should. But the main goal right now should be making the other main healers at least viable in higher ranks, because as of the moment theyre kinda trash/troll picks in comparison to ana.
