He has the third lowest pick rate in gold out of all of the supports, because they can’t hit with him.
Genji has one of the highest pick rates in gold because they find him easy.
Like, Gold is a VERY different rank than GM.

i dont understand how gold players find genji easier than bap, probably one of the most brainless supports you could play with the most overbloated kit second to sigma
Probably more to do with Moira being the path of least resistance.
Given Genjis historical pickrate regardless of balance I’d argue it’s just popularity. He’s like Mercy.
Well the answer to OP is to improve instead of pretending like the game is dead by daylight. It’s not a serious position.
This doesn’t make sense. The entire thread is about how mobility heroes affect support. Why would you not want to listen to a support main’s perspective?
#JusticeForShinkie
His win rates have always been above 50% in low / mid ranks. ALWAYS. He has literally never been a bad pick in mid ranked play.
He has never been a hard hero before mid Plat. His pick rate typically takes a massive dive there because it is the first rank where people get the ability to shoot him consistently.
Support queue times in mid is now back to instant, Blizzard is losing too many people out of the support role as it current stands (see Sombra as what is likely the current reason - which is why I’m a fan of a rework there)
But Blizzard has to step in, their hands are basically tied.
Not again…we finally had normal supports for a couple seasons and now they want to get gigabuffed once more.
I’m convinced. Dps need a straight up hard dropkick of a shotgun nerf across the board dude.
Blizzard needs to get them to queue.
I think a Sombra rework will do that, but if not, then gigabuffing is on the cards.
Because Blizzard needs them to queue. Blizzard doesn’t care if they complain, but they ABSOLUTELY care if they don’t queue.
if blizz continues their current pattern support is going to be the bottleneck in queue times, resulting in OW3 releasing the 1-2-1 format
If you’re dying to Winston as Kiri, Lucio, Moira, or Brig then that’s a positioning problem on your end
Because nobody else will fight tank, who specifically aims to end your existence.
Don’t worry, once that happens, whole cycle of “buff role a, role b becomes upset, buff role b to make role c upset, so you buff role c, this making role a upset…” will continue.
There’s no way you’re genuinely expecting to 1v1 a tank, solo, as support.
There is, since, again, no one else will do that.
Such is life in Overwatch - if someone tries to kill you, it’s specifically your and only your problem.
There is, they’re called your team mates, this is a team game.
* in some ranks.
No all ranks, bad or good, they’re still team mates. If theyre not helping you que with someone.
See this I agree with. But lets not pretend low ranked soloQ is actually a team game
I don’t know what rank Cleopatra is in, I assume actually higher ranked, but I used to be in the lower ranks.
It wasn’t a team game there in any real sense of the word. On the other hand, you could actually reasonable 1v1 a tank as a support there, so that was also a thing
I think there is a lot of conversations where both people are right, because they are playing QUITE different games.
Hell, moving region can be like picking up an entirely different game. It is wild.
In theory, yes, but we are talking about practice.
just like everyone talking about how broken tank is then
In theory tank supposed to be focused by entire team and goes down somewhat easily. In practice tank will kill you one by one.
Sometimes I am just amazed, how many wrong assumptions developers made about way average player will act.
Unfortunately those heroes won’t be nerfed, even while nobody likes to face them. Also you got flagged into hiding.
This person is having a conversation with themselves.
