Smurfs everywhere, bad matchmaking, questionable balance what is there to like? OW can be fun but more and more it just feels like playing slots.
Ill miss the game then I come back to play and remember immediately why I stopped playing everyday lol.

Just don’t play. More like play something else. I only play a handful of matches every few months at this point. Sometimes more when that weird itch’s happening.
It’s a game and supposed to be fun. If it ain’t fun, stop playing. And don’t let yourself get caught up with Blizzards fomo, which they so dearly love. I have like 3 finished battle passes in all this time lol. And I still live! Crazy right?

For standard play, this is a twofold issue: the dev team is playing favorites and the dev team is convinced they can balance primarily with perks.
For Stadium, they are desperately trying to even out queue times. Which is a laudable goal. But queue times won’t change much due to a design issue with DPS. Almost universally, building into an attack power build is far better than once centered around a utility build. You can have unique and effective utility and ability power builds with tank and supports, but with DPS you’re surrendering a lot of power.

Hazard is on both teams every game right now with ability power builds. Very frustrating.

Of course not 6v6 is gone. And it’s never again gonna be as rewarding as lootbox-every-level system.

I’m actually having more fun than last season. But that’s likely because I’ve finally upgraded my monitor from 60hz to 400hz so everything feels smooth now. I’m thinking about upgrading my gaming PC even more because I can only run the game at 260FPS.
I haven’t touched stadium though and mainly play 5v5 RQ competitive. And I still don’t play tank much because it’s less fun/more tilting compared to DPS or support. But other than that, I’ve been enjoying the game more than ever (again, probably thanks to my new gaming monitor).
One of the only things that’s gatekeeping me from playing longer and more often is poor matchmaking/longer queue time due to relatively small population of playerbase in OCE region. I’m thinking about paying for VPN so I can play in Singapore or Asia server for faster queue during non-peak hours.

I can honestly say that even playing since day 1, I still log in at least a few times a week and enjoy the game.
That said, having just got back in to 5v5 a bit recently, tanking in this mode is about the least fun thing to do in the game. Guaranteed every loss is full of toxic team mates shouting “tank diff” no matter what you do. Apart from that, I still really enjoy OW.
maybe it has something to do with the fact that i can go 12 losses in a row, then 7 wins in a row. and currently 3 losses in a row. something is wrong with matchmaking. this is all within 2 days

Nope, they have allowed cheaters for way to long and they are destroying the game. I know there will be several cheaters who will call this out and say there is no cheating. They will demand codes and such. Well I say to them Get gUd Or sToP cheating !!!

The last few weeks with Overwatch 2 have been some of the most fun I have had with Overwatch. I for one think the game is in a great state at the moment, despite still having some flaws.
I for one definitely prefer Overwatch 2 to Overwatch 1, at least gameplay wise. I also prefer 5v5 over 6v6.
