but thats not relying on the characters choice. clem is always bi no matter who she dates. the devs have confirmed that she was always meant to be bisexual but the final season allows her to choose how to express it.
i get what you mean though. alot of bioware characters having characters you can date no matter your gender but the actual character doesn’t express same sex attraction if you don’t date them. which why they are often referred to as playersexual. so i get what you mean. some characters should be bisexual no matter how the character plays the game.
but i don’t think giving the player personal choose to date is a cop out. its how being bi kinda works. in real life you can choose to date men or women. and since you get to control the main character getting to choose between who to date makes logical sense. tell me how would you write a playable main character thats bisexual?
