I really want people to understand how bumping works. A forum post gets rightfully buried if you just don’t respond to it.
I genuinely am not sure forum goes understand this, the quickest way to resolve what you feel to be a troll thread, or something you vehemently disagree with, is to do nothing at all. Just a PSA.

I think its as little as two unreciprocated comments that stops a user from posting, even.

Given in your other thread you considered it to have “calmed down” in the whole 16 minutes since the post previous to mine (bearing in mind actual time to think/ write), you seem to have a very accelerated view of what “bumping” involves
As i said in that thread, you do get how forums work?

Well yeah, not interacting with a thread will cause it to just disapear from the first page.

Not too worried about what goes on over there.
I’d chill on that. I think its hilarious, but these forumers will get you banned. I mean, you do you though.
The nature of the forums makes it so that the most controversial threads are always pushed to the top. This makes it appear combative.
The nature of reddit makes it so that the least controversial threads are pushed to the top. This makes it an echo chamber.
The nature of twitter, YouTube, twitch, and pretty much every other form of social media makes it so that only famous people get attention.
It is what it is I guess.

Use:

Woah I never knew this. I just choose to ramble instead.

Which is my intention. The more people seeing a stupid take and judging them, the better.
