See my improvement in this gallery I posted on Imgur.

I’ve been in bronze and got out. So let me tell you how to get out.
I recommend buying Kovaak’s FPS trainer to help you improve your aim. Then find a few hero’s to main to get good at. I recommend to not main Hammond, if your looking to get out of bronze on tank. Hammond only feeds at every rank I’ve been at so far.
Next you need to have the mentality that you have a lot to improve on. Analyze your games in the replays, and you’ll find out how dumb your game play looks like so you know what to improve on.
You MUST group up if you want to climb out of bronze, even if you’re blocking lots of damage.
If you win in bronze it’s in spite of your team, not because your team was actually trying to win.
Silvers are about as bad as bronze players, but at least silvers understand the hero they play on a fundamental level…DONT expect silvers to flex at all because they’re too scared to venture beyond their narrow hero pool.
Group up with them and use them as a stepping stone to improve.
Once you get to high silver, you’re gonna have to destroy the glass ceiling that is bastion.
Something interesting to note is that players generally don’t know how to attack until mid gold. All they know is that they can win games on defense because it’s easier to defend in low skill lobbies than it is to attack. There’s inherent coordination in the popular defense strategy of “everyone stand in one spot,” and not enough coordination to make a proper push in low ranks. You’ll see this especially among tanks who (on attack) will walk to a choke point and then once they reach it they will dance around and move side to side without any attempts at pushing beyond the choke point. This behavior stems from an inability to push and a lack of understanding how to win an attack round. As a defender, you can waddle around near choke points and hold M1 or M2 and hope you win. If you do this as an attacker, you’re throwing.
Here is another Comp match of me playing Mercy, YJ8FMG. I actually had to opponents the same in two matches back to back. CaptainHook and Tinkerballs69; I play as Sigma and we won but we think they were throwing, then this match I was Mercy and they were Smurfs. I can post the Sigma match if you want to see them do both.
Here is my Comp match as Sigma (86HZW1) where I have the same two opponets (the following match). Here they are throwing/feeding while the next match (where I play Mercy) they are Smurfing.
Here is the most recent match. I would classify the players as normal, no throwing, leaving, smurfing. It was refreshing. I hit a career high for healing as Mercy.

Well, people lie just to troll people. I didnt watch the whole match, just some parts but I highly doubt they could be even smurfing from platinum. No way there were masters smurfs. They were pretty bad mechanicaly.
People in Bronze usually have poor mechanics. Work on your mechanics and you will get out of it. One thing is that you shouldn’t try to play proper Overwatch nor should you expect your teammates to do so. You need to play “get me out of Bronze Overwatch” which means have better mechanics and positioning than your opponents.
