reaper cannot really counter widow, i headshot him instantly

I only made this thread to show how a basic change of gameplay can handle heros.
If you believe what you believeā¦then practice it. Its much harder to nail thsoe consistent headshots where its easier to just mess with Widow and kill her lwoer health.
Most of the time for most of the player ase the easier thing to do will trump the higher skill requirement to get the same effecr
Yea thatās me. I remember playing against you on Lifeweaver in FFA even recently. I really only come here to submit bug reports, but Iāll pop in to General too sometimes.

Thatās stalker behavior sir.
You could not pick a DPS with a bigger head hitbox, reaper is one of the most easy DPS to headshot as Window.

Do people just not A D strafe and crouch spam against you or what?
I can do that and force a miss. Widow trues that and sheās only making herself harder to hit on a shotgun spread.
As reaper that does not matter, you are a freekill.
Like you must be trolling right calling reaper a counter???

I would have picked off your team if you tried that with me, like your āadviceā actually would make playing widow more easy.
I hate to break it to you but reaper is the worst pick you can pick against snipers.

On a flat map yes. But being able to grapple to high ground, along with Reaperās gigantic head hitbox, is what makes the match-up one-sided. Any decent Widow will one-shot a Reaperās shadowstep to high ground. So unless you catch Widow with grapple on cooldown, youāre almost never winning that except against newbie Widow players.

I would never try this on an open map where Iād have to run a massive distance to even get back to safety.
What specifically do you want me to read?
Worst case scenario even if widow misses she grapples away what are you going to do wraith to her?
Are you not getting headshot more after hitbox increase while wallriding?

Iām a Ball main who seconds Winston. Mains Venture in dps. Then Moira for support. Majority of my playtime is huntung specifically hitscans and Mercys.

But we are talking about reaper, there is no situation, no map, no nothing that makes reaper viable against a decent widow.
Like u think me hearing your footsteps will make me nervous when it does the opposite, I know exactly where you are so you are one less player I have to worry about.

Point is changing playstyle helps a ton.
Well I would not have used reaper as a example to counter a widow as for you to kill me or pressure me as reaper I must have fallen asleep behind my desk no matter how often you change your playstyle.
I go mei and outsnipe them. I am the widow now.
