How should they buff Ana?

A few things I think she needs, how to impliment them I’m not so certain

  1. A means of getting to sniper perches that Hanzo and Widow utilize.
  2. A form of self healing that is not tied to bio nade, perhaps give her just a passive heal like Mercy would be enough.
  3. Look at her cooldowns, maybe (and this is a maybe as in I want this experimented with after the first 2 are implimented) we should look at either lowering her cooldowns by a second or two, and/or giving back the speed boost for nanoboost

Blizzard would never do that. It breaks the game to do that

Zens self-sustain is the same as mercys. Thematically it seems different, but regenerating his shield is no different than mercy getting her HP back.

Yeah and then give her an oven and cookie mix

I’m sure the enemy team would be very considerate to leave me alone and not run dive if I tell them I’m going ana.

Yeah i mean atm dive is run everywhere past mid plat

She needs to be able to shoot through full HP allies. It’s much more detrimental to her not being able to.

Yeah for being a high skill healer there isnt much reward

I’ve got a short list of good stuff I’ve seen and alittle of my own stuff:

  • 150 hp 50 shielding
  • reduce damage (not healing) to prior levels but increase ROF
  • allow her to climb walls
  • give her 10 more rounds of ammo

I think that’ll help her with staying alive in back lines, even out her healing, up her damage to current levels but keep her from being over bearing, and give her some more survivability and vantage points.

Every map is a dive map… so youre saying dont play ana at all…

That’s the problem. Ana is fine except when she plays against any other hero in the game. Then she’s not so good so you probably shouldn’t run her if your team has small targets, the other team has dive tanks, your team can’t peel for one of the easiest targets in the game, your team wants to win etc. Outside of that feel free to play Ana.

Which is to say not at all

The ability to hold the reload button while on a full mag to initiate a self heal where she injects herself with one of her darts. She would be slowed during the duration of this and it would heal for the same amount a healing dart would. I’d say the animation should take around 1.5 seconds.

Actualluy tbf Zen’s self heal does take significantly longer to kick in (3 seconds compared to Mercy’s 1).

Mercy can also heal all her health back from 1 hp, whereas Zen can’t.

Honestly if Jeff said “it might be a while” and they are really worried about Ana being too strong (lol), it’s clear she’s never going to get out of the trash. She’s at least good practice for aiming.

wake me up when there is a map where Dive is so unviable it’s not even considered.

or how about wake me up when Bliz makes her viable to protect herself against dive

Used to be 3 seconds but because Mercy is so much closer to the front lines then Zen (zen can easily peel away behind cover where Mercy has to be tethered to her healing target) meant that it was becoming clear her survivability needed a buff.

Felt like telling a story, I remember the good ol days of Mercy 3 second regeneration… made me ship Mercy76 so hard, Soldier had to look like an angel to Mercy with that biotic field.
