Very rarely, on those occasions where I can convince/emotionally blackmail a nephew to play Overwatch instead of Fortnort.

I rarely play with anyone 
not for lack of trying. I’ll usually encounter someone, we play together for one night, then I never see or hear from them again. This happens SO. OFTEN. I don’t know anyone irl who plays this game, so I’m left trying to find a cool person in game which is incredibly hard.
- More often than not, when someone and I play together, they’re much much younger than I am because I am now ancient for the gaming world. So there’s also that.

Do you mind playing DPS? I was thinking I might play support next time, change it up, not that I can’t swap if we need it.
Never, because I don’t have any friends. Not able to make friends in Overwatch, so I stopped playing. I’ll play maybe a match or two of quickplay in a week.
I want to play more, but not having any friends absolutely kills the motivation to play.
I play solo. Theres only one friend left on ow, but he doesnt play the game nearly as often as I do.
I need to find an ow no lifer who I can play with. Someone who plays it more than I do lol.

First, I know exactly what you mean, being nervous to play/duo with someone.
A lot of times I get nervous at the possibility I’ll encounter toxicity in game. I seldom do, but still, I feel pressured to play better. It can be stressful.
I take it you play competitive. Could the atmosphere of those games be the issue? I don’t mean to dissuade you playing competitive. But they’re higher stakes than QP.
Don’t take the game so seriously and try to have fun. Duo with a friend if possible.
And take what I say with a grain of salt. I don’t play competitive. Too much pressure, and the threat of a loss of skill rank often makes for salty gamers.
