For me it feels like 1 out of every 20 games is somewhat formed fairly with the current matchmaker. Everything else is a stomp either way.
Only Blizzard could create a game where winning feels unsatisfying.

1 or 2 per day.
Most others are rolls/stomps.
i either get 30-0 or 15-6
even in ‘tight’ matches, if its only tight for the other 4 players and im chillin with that score then its not really tight
Same experience. Feels like I am wasting my time here.
Perhaps 25% of my games are relatively close.
I get quite a few in Mystery Heroes, tbh.
3-4 out of 10 games in QP. I don’t play enough Comp to say for sure. On the really bad days it is 1-2 out of 10 games.
Once in a blue moon. But these days, there are stomps and more stomps.
It feels like 1/20 games are close games tbh.
Go to Comp. 20 chara
Not often. It’s usually stomp or get stomped.
I personally push for mostly attacking dps/supports all game.
And end with mostly close matches, and alot of confused tanks when they wonder why their counter pick isn’t fixing everything.
Yep, mostly never. If I got the opportunity to have a civilized conversation and provide feedback, this is one of my top 3 concerns.
In competitive, it’s probably 1 fair game in 3. Being honest, it’s not terrible. There’s so many reasons for a match to go belly up but it gets frustrating when you can quickly tell that the enemy has a smurf, competent duo, comms, people playing meta, hard-countering, etc. and your team is very opposite these handicaps.
However, QP is a different story. It’s to the point I want to give up on OW2. QP has become more difficult than competitive. It needs an MMR rework, tightening, or a backend systems alteration somehow. I won’t claim to be an expert or capable of providing any sort of solution… but I just know it’s consistently a miserable landslide victory/defeat and rarely (1 in 8+) meaningful match.
Extremely rare. To the point where I’m not even trying new things.
Do we count close games with similar stats or just the difficulty to each near end of all objectives on or near overtime?
Most of the time they go hand in hand so If its a close game then the teams will have similar stats but theres a few matches were either you or the enemy pushed or claimed the objective for too long and theres no winning it back. You can still however have a fun and non stompy experience in those games.
Maybe 1 in every 20 matches feel fair and balanced, every other game is a stomp, with my team usually on the receiving end.
1 in 20 seems about right. matchmaking is awful.
