Like I said above, not completely against these things. I just don’t believe they do the good that people like to imagine they do. Alot of big charities, even the medical ones, put the money where it probably shouldn’t go.
Plus doing charity events through a middle man always gave me a weird feeling. It’s effectively just Blizzard recieving good publicity for something that everyone can do by themselves.
If you wanna give charity I think it’s best to do so on a local level. There’s alot of great food drives, pregnancy centers, and such that will absolutely use your money better. Heck, even just buying some food and giving it to a neighbor because you “aren’t gonna use it” is great.
