Colorado, my aunt and cousin are apparently visiting just because they want to go to some dispensaries. It is vaguely insulting but I expect nothing less from her.
You have issues if a game gets to you that much and should have likely stopped players a long time ago
No need to sugar coat it. Itâs scientifically proven to be detrimental to a persons health in various ways.
Thatâs an incredibly unhealthy habit⌠Stop playing this game if you canât control yourself or your urges. Youâre killing yourself, slowly but surely. Overwatch is not the game for you if this is the case.
Please stop killing yourself.
if your stressed then stream your gamesâŚbut then again you will probably fail and really be stressed.
I smoked for almost 20 years off and on. I vape instead now, but yeah. I go through 100ml of e-juice every 2 weeks.
I wish more people didnât smoke here. Even young people.
I take take the bus everywhere and thereâs a 70% chance some rude, inconsiderate smoker will be sitting at the stop. I donât care if someone wants lung cancer, but please donât do it in a place where I canât escape and am forced to sit there for 20+ minutes. I canât stand these people.
Ah cheeky Roll ups in between games, nicotine mouth spray is good for quitting, you get the hit but itâs not tied to a replacement habit forming action like sucking on an inhaler or vaping.
If you havenât tried vaping⌠not only is it MUCH cheaper than cigarettes (even if you roll your own), the immediate restoration of your lungs might be an incentive. I didnât think Iâd ever quit analog cigarettes. Chantix didnât work, nicotine gum / patches didnât work. What worked was the realization that the amount of money I spent on cigarettes totaled more than all of my student loans put together. The amount I spend on vaping is less than $15 a month.
2 problems I see with this statement.
1: you are blaming your unhealthy addiction to smoking on a video game.
2: you are that addicted to overwatch to begin with, that you have identified not only that you have an unhealthy habit, but that this video game makes it worse, and you continue doing it.
You honestly sound like you need to seek help in all seriousness.
To people whoâve never smoked before, you have NO IDEA how addictive nicotine is. Itâs basically cheaper crack. The withdrawal from nicotine turns you into a rage monster. Sure, no one should ever smoke to begin with, but⌠the catâs already out of the bag. Have some compassion.
Nowhere in my statement did I say nicotine isnât addictive. Nor did I say that was the problem. Read again.
Youâre right, you didnât, but you also donât understand how nicotine affects a userâs brain. It tricks you into thinking you need it in order to feel normal. You begin to forget what ânormalâ feels like if you donât have a cigarette every so often. This effect is exasperated by regular stress / frustration â caused by, letâs say⌠Overwatch. The truth is, how a smoker SHOULD feel all the time is the same feeling one gets after having a cigarette. The withdrawal makes ordinary frustrations feel like mountains. So if you already smoke, youâre already affected by this. Add in the frustrations that Overwatch may and can cause, and now you can imagine how the OP feels.
My point is that if OP feels that Overwatch frustrates him to the point that he is excessively smoking and killing himself, he should not only stop playing Overwatch but seek help because he sounds like he needs it. And that is my way of showing compassion: offering advice to a random person on internet.
I have a cigerette between every game.
dont play the game anymore then
Ugh, me. But! Iâve just bought a vape kit to slowly ween myself off of nicotine and inevitably quit altogether again. I did it a few years ago, I can do it again.
Cigarettes donât actually relieve stress, btw. They just give your brain a familiarity to focus on, which is comforting. Try swapping it out for something else.
Just eat chocolate inestead of smoking i guess
actually youd probably die after eating so much
i wouldint sue them am not american lawl
