No, I don’t think it’s actually “better” than Dooms ult but the fact that we can even semi reasonably compare an entire ultimate with a silly little add-on the devs added to disincentivize holding the dva hostage after demek speaks volumes.

Its not a semi reasonable comparison.
One ult makes you completely immortal and you can land it anywhere you want.
One ult requires the opponent intentionally not killing you and letting you walk to them.

Ppl who complain about remech are the ones who either got killed by it because of not being cautious or have never tried to pull it off.
It is very situational to do and very risky too unlike doom’s which is basically an escape button and free damage.
Killed the Sombra, who was bugging me the whole match, in the last 5 seconds with remech from behind. 
Very satisfying. 
Most ppl just haven’t got used to the fact that they have to keep distance. Once when it happens, it won’t be very useful thing.
That sombra could just have hacked you and then go for the easy kill if she was actually smart.
He. Sombra was busy hacking someone in front of her and I sneaked her from behind.
(Yah, somewhat risky, but the last seconds in a streight winning QP game you can have a little bit silly fun.

As a fist doom main, D.va’s remech is great. I just got D.va’s doolnifs gold gun and its awesome
Doom can’t use remech 
I hate it, I think every doom player I interact with hates it
Some people like the change but it’s not healthy for the game
not a doom player but i believe the buff helps her from being staggered so it’s a 50/50 of useless and great
