How I Improve my Gamesense?

For some Reasons, my Gamesense on most Heroes are very Bad. Even I did Walking Ahead of my Teammates’ Shield when there D.Va Ultimate Front of my Teammate Shield or Watch at D.Va Ultimate without use Cover. Or I just Peek or Watching at Cassidy Ultimate or even Walking Front to Soldier: 76 Ultimate. Also I did Chasing Tracer, and she Ended Up Recall and Behind of me. Also even I Chasing Junkrat Rip Tire.

Editing: It was Joking. But how I Improve my Gamesense in Predictions Enemies Abilites and Ultimates? Also how I Learn of Maps? Also how I can know where Enemies will go?

You’re asking how to improve your game sense by identifying your problems? You seem to already have your answer on that one.

So why I keep Chasing Tracer, when I am Reinhardt?

Kidding, I don’t Chasing Tracer. But why I have very Bad Almost Zero Gamesense in Predictions and Map Knowledge, and Enemies will go?

thats just poor [but fun] decision-making

You play… a lot

Hell, you play Ana a lot for a couple of days and you can hone your game sense really quick. Like, I once have a fun little thing with this particular Doomfist that he was pretty impressed with at the end. Every time he tried to jump on me, it was a sleep dart to his face.

yep- comes from reps

I Playing this Game for 6 Years Old, but I don’t get my Gamesense Improving on Posting that not Joking. For some Reasons I Played a lot Maps same, but I keep got Trapped myself. Also I don’t know where is Health Pack and where Enemies will go. Also I can’t Predictions very Good.

Everybody is different, some get their game senses to sharpen really fast while some don’t. So don’t beat yourself over it, just keep playing.

Well, the Health pack part is not that important unless you play a lot of Roamers like Tracer or Ball. But you should try to remember some of the more popular health pack spots, because most of the time, they will be the roamer’s most common choice of HP refill.

Oh, this definitely needs practice, but there are “tells” when some players are trying to do something. Like the game has passed 1-2 minutes and their Rein is overly aggressive with his movement? He’s going to Shatter.

Same with Zarya? Suddenly she is more aggressive than usual? Prepare for a Grav.

And there are other cases like these, but most of the time, it comes down to practice.

Youth, illegal pharmaceuticals, lack of financial obligations. The usual.

Anticipate when enemy ults are about to come

example: if Rein is very aggressive all match, and he suddenly is acting weird and walking/shielding too much, then you know shatter is coming

If Tracer is attacking your backline all match, then suddenly she gets quiet and doesn’t use blinks as much, she’s about to pulse bomb

What? I don’t understand, how it is Difference, :frowning: sorry.

What, I can’t Telling by their Behaviors so Easily… Also I see their Behaviors look too same Before they use Ultimate, maybe I can’t Telling, :frowning: sorry.

I’d like to help you. But i can’t understand what you wrote.

Play more & watch & learn from high level streamers? Monke see monke do.

Same way you get to Carnegie hall.

Practice.

More than that you will have to use effort.

Don’t turn off your brain to go on autopilot. You have to actively engage with your teammates, game time situation, and pay attention to what the enemy is doing.

Focus on improvement in one area. Once you get that work on the next thing.

Don’t try to be a shot calling Hanzo, figuring out best positioning on map while working on accuracy, and getting better at peeling for Supports.

Work each day or each week at getting better with whatever hero. Figure out and pay attention to why you won, why you lost, and what you need to work on to be more consistent

That’s mechanical skill, not game sense

At that level that’s like asking how do you learn to count or how do you learn the alphabet except it’s even more simplified  On that level… just think about every action you make and why you make it? In Overwatch if you die, it’s because of your own actions. This is a game where you never have to die if you don’t want to. That will in some cases obviously mean losing the game because you lose a lot of value in your gameplay, but it’s still true that you die because of your own decisions. Even if a Widow snipes you across the map and you don’t realize it, your decision to walk past a certain corner is what leads up to it. If that happens right outside the spawn, your decision to step out from that entrance in that situation is what leads to the shot. Once you start realizing all the causalities and decisions you make and how they lead to whatever happens, you can start assessing those causalities and decisions for the opponents too. Then once you’ve done this enough times it starts to become naturally to you, which is what some players consider game sense. I’d say that’s automatic game sense vs. manual game sense; and the goal is to use the latter to reach the former

Like everyone else says you just have to play a lot. Watching people also play will help more because you’ll see them do things and you can implement them into your gameplay. Its okay to not be good at the game, as long as your having fun that’s all that matters in the end.

Thanks. But other People say I should Play a lot, also I don’t see my Gamesense Improves by Watch other People Playing. But my Gamesense in Map Knowledge and Predictions and where Enemies will go, are Zero Gamesense. But I like to Playing for Fun. I am Tired of Quick Play and other Modes where People Blames me because of my Gamesense.

Don’t, just play dps and turn off your brain.

If you want to get better at predicting certain heroes, try learning them yourself. You will get a better feel when the situation calls for ulting.

If I’m supporting, I can predict pretty well when the enemy damage is about to ult, and I typically say “Incoming, Fall back!” a few seconds before the onslaught begins.

Then the enemy kills my team, and I say “Goodbye!”.
