What does playing better mean?

Literally the line before I say ‘better’:

• the sr system looks at your hero performance (say you played Soldier) vs every other person playing that hero (Soldier) at your rank
• if you do better you’ll gain more sr for wins and lose less sr for losses
• if you do worse then you’ll gain less sr for wins and lose more sr for losses

To further explain, your SR gains and losses are not calculated against the enemy team (beyond win or lose) but every person who plays the same hero you did at your current SR.
