SR is not consistent or transparent. Blizzard doesn’t allow players to understand the their terms of use in ranked competition, because they are trying to hide mechanisms of rigging. Every match is algorithmically handicapped, which is patently unfair and ruins the integrity of match results. So Blizzard tries to compensate and create the illusion of fairness with “performance-based SR adjustment.” More information:
