How Does Anybody Play With Less Than 10 Sens?

4.5 sensitivity ,1600 DPI

I’d go lower but my mousepad isn’t big enough for it

Browsing the internet with that must be a nightmare.

Windows luckily comes with a pointer speed option, so you don’t need a high DPI in order to make it quick. You can find it in mouse settings in the control panel.
Worth adding also that pointer speed doesn’t affect you at all in game since the game uses raw input so Dpi x in game sens in cm/360. It just feels smoother on 400 dpi even though i could change to 800 and 5.5 in game to achieve the same result.

I play 3 with 1200dpi sens as mccree.

I play on 4 1600.
low sens is better
but it takes a long time to get used to. trust me lol.

I move my hand a little further…

Idk but 15 seems like being my limit with 50 being what I normally use in games.

From where I can get such a large table?

I think I need a lighter mouse. Currently using the Razer Mamba Wireless 2012 (135 grams) thinking about switching to the Logitech G Pro.

lmao, I do a 180 with 12 inches.

I play with a ps4 controller. Very low default sensitivity. Hold left trigger for high sensitivity when I need to turn around or track fast targets like doomfist.

I use 4.20 sense,
button to go up 800dpi to 1600 depending what hero i have to use.

LOL 420

135 grams is a bit hefty, but acceptable for FPS games.
If you think your mouse is too heavy, the Logitech G Pro is hands down the best mouse you could switch to.
I use it and I can say that quickly moving large distances is effortless.

First of all I think it really depends who you play. Like, it’s really advantageous to play Winston, Moira, and to some extent Genji, Doomfist, Tracer on high sensitivity. Because high sens helps them exploit one of their strengths even further: mobility, with positioning, etc. And for snipers or anyone who heavily relies on precise aim they have to consider finding a good balance between high and low sens that is high enough to be able to turn around on a whim but comfortable enough to aim with precisely.

Second, are you sure you’re on 1100 DPI?? maybe your mouse has multiple DPI settings and you’re looking at the wrong one? That seems unrealistically high. I know it’s possible, but I can’t imagine how that’s comfortable.

Of course when you switch from high sens to low, it feels awkward and heavy. It feels awkward to switch to higher sens too. But you get used to it fairly quickly. In fact, I think it’s pretty good for your aim to switch back and forth once in a while. A lot of people seem to think otherwise, but from my experience it feels amazing to get used to high sens and then lower it, or even go the other way (every other month or so).

I’m using the Razer Mamba so I see what my DPI is using Razer Synapse.

Don’t do it unless you’ve tried the shape before and like it.

  • egg shaped sides can cause tilt issues for low sens
  • feet can dig in on certain cloth pads
  • cord is stiff braided which is bad for low sens gaming esp without bungee

Easily better options:

  • Zowie (FK2/ZA13/S2 series, note EC2 is more of a medium sized mouse not small)
  • Logitech G Pro Wireless (the shape is different from the wired! also lighter)
  • Finalmouse Ultralight Phantom (though you won’t be able to buy one easily)

But don’t take my word for it, do your own homework. A highly recommended site: Rocket Jump Ninja | Rocket Jump Ninja

I play at 50cm/360. Can’t do crazy 360s (i.e. shield spinner Rein for memes) but it doesn’t hinder my gameplay. There are different techniques to learning low sens FPS, but general pointers:

  • get a big cloth pad
  • get a light mouse with flexible plastic cable + bungee / wireless
  • sit up straight in your chair or at least have somewhat decent posture
  • toss the wrist rest if you still use one
  • make sure the shoulder/elbow are used for big camera movements
  • adjust chair height so that your forearm is level with your desk

800 dpi and 3.75 sensitivity! I used to play on 1600 and 20, just lower your sensitivity by 0.5 everytime you play

What cord? the G Pro is wireless. (By G Pro I mean the newest one)

My Sombra is 5,95 with 1500DPI. My shoulder is literally hurting, but I’m getting those dinks.
