i’m sorry but if it behaves like a patch, looks like a patch and the rest looks like an expansion that adds onto the game… it’s a patch + expansion.
I know many people here are young, but what we saw so far in the pve sounds just about the size of any good ol’ expansion.

It’s not about how much content, it’s about blizzard’s dumb marketing making people confused. Had they just called the pvp part an update and the pve a sequel/expansion there wouldn’t be confusion
yet many people still call it a sequel and go in with the expectations of a sequel.
My theory is that there was some activision meddling. They wanted their yearly cod or something like destiny 2, devs fought back and what we got was the result.
