This is why overwatch league is boring
I suggested a ban system for OW2 and people said it will never happen until the game has double or triple the amount of heroes it currently hasā¦

OWL will flop long before that happens.
To be honest, it already is dead, had it not been for the view rewards.
I watch it in 144p without sound in background. 
But if the teams played different and interesting comps, I would actually watch it. This is just not fun though, sorry Blizz.

Ban will definitely help. Compare OWL to dota 2 internationals for example, which is a much much more successful ESPORTS, even though itās a moba game and is generally at a disadvantage when compared to FPS ESPORTS. Dota has over 100 heroes. Yet when internationalās over, usually the non played hero list is less than 10 overall. EVERY Other hero will either be banned or played at least a few times.
This game needs that too.
I think so, too. Bans will make people try different comps because of what each team might ban. Weāll definitely see different teams after each map, at the very least.
I think this actually plays a big part. I already find even myself not playing as many heroes as I did before because of the loss of one tank and just their rework in general. I used to cycle between five, now Iāve been playing the same 2 or 3.

No why exactly is it requirement to switch heroes? I mean if you ask me, its much better for knowing players by who they main.
People simply dont get it yet. This game was never about āhard counterā because its a team based game. Its not 1v1. OW2 has further changed and they are trying to even lessen the āhard counterā situation. I like that, it means you get to play the hero you like. Its a team based game, meaning its a team. support each other. One hero is not going to counter the entire opponent team.
There is nothing wrong with playing with one hero. This way it makes it about the hero and the player to be known for playing that hero.
ban will always be a bad idea in this game. What is wrong with people playing what they want? Why is it other people want to impose their will on others and try and control what they do?
Maybe in normal competitive is bad idea. But for tournaments to be even remotely fun they need this in.

weāre talking about OWL. not comp or quickplay. and an ESPORTS for a game with a variety of heroes isnāt entertaining, when 6 out of 30 are played.

What happened to OWLās production values? The stream video quality is awful, and the stage set up is cheap and ugly. Season 1 was a spectacle, this is just dull.
