i in general hate passive players, its one of my biggest pet peeves. thats why i enjoy this version of qp so much
the passive player is punished alot more then they usually are, so people either get with the program or lose. (5 P’s)
being nice, its “passive” players that are complaining bout it the most. “active” players either barely notice anything or they really like it.
Not to contradict you, but I love this fast paced mode and I am a passive as a negligent parent.
I’ve seen 5 Lifeweaver trees in a less than 5 minute match, you can’t tell me they didn’t also add ult charge%.
Also, not your average player. I’ve been part of this community since day one when this game launched, and I’ve seen it rise to great heights, and now I’m seeing it fall to it’s lowest lows. Most people aren’t your average player, since it seems most of the people in the forums have been around since day one. The game just sucks now. The devs will never take responsibility and the game will never get better with people defending them each time they make a mistake, which is far too often for a bunch of “industry veterans.”
I’m an active player that has no control over how many passive players I get on my team. Getting one team fight to hope they wake up isn’t doing it for me.

but maybe deep down your an active player, that hides as a passive player. who knows

that doesnt mean you arnt the average player. your profile says you are silver and gold, you are an average and below average player.
thats fine, but this is a big reason as to why you dont like it.
most of us that are masters+ didnt have to change our playstyle to fit in because the active playstyle “quicker play” asks for is the playstyle of high elo. so for us its a win win (cept mercy/moira mains, id bet they are complaining rn lol)
the people below diamond on the other hand are struggling because they are used to playing slower.
to be clear, their will always be exceptions to this rule. some ppl in low elo are going to like it, and some in high elo are going to hate it.
but thus far, based on what ive seen around diamond is where the current divide seems to start. (this shifts depending on role and hero pool. supports are alot more iffy on it, mercy/moira/lw players in particular, while tank/dps absoutely love it)
i dont know…so far, im thinking it’s too fast…i like games that last awhile…personally…where you have time to work and do things. this just seems like you’re in and out before you really even get to do much.
It’s not even remotely the same. I laughed out loud when I read it and read it again to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. I swear you do it on purpose. 
Quicker play is perfect, it should be its own mode. I suspect it would overtake regular quick play in popularity, since 90% of games are stomps for some reason
The only time quicker play would be bad is when you get those once or twice a year epic games where nobodys taking over and everyone is trying

I’m responding to a post in a thread about quicker play. I’ve responded to quite a number of them. Just your take was one of the least thought out. I know you believe it too which makes it even worse.
You go right to mad. No one seems mad in this thread. Just stop with that.
Now let me patiently try to help you here despite your desperate cries of boosted or “malding” (i love that one btw).
You tell me how playing at a gm1 level with attack and defense, where respawns and regroups, ult and ability tracking, and games going 3 - 3 are still infinitely winnable if you adapt correctly - how any of that is like quicker play and fast respawns. How is that at all the same thing as feed fast and run back fast, win one team fight, repeat?
We’ll just let all that nonsense slide. 
It’s funny to me that you looked at my profile to see if I played comp or not. Honestly, the comp community in this game is a huge problem for the people who just play QP. I played only a few season to prove the point to the people that I play with that comp in OW sucks unless you no-life this game to death and have a decent 5 stack.
Silver and gold doesn’t matter. Masters doesn’t matter. Hell, even top 500 doesn’t matter. You only have to do well on your placements to get rank and don’t have touch comp afterwards if you don’t want to and it maintains.
And who are you to tell me why I like or don’t like something? My rank doesn’t effect my mindset that I play QP to chill and have a decent time. I don’t touch comp because I hate sweats who think they’re better as people solely because they no life a game and don’t have a social life.
People like you, who think rank is everything, ruin the game for people like me, who just want to have a good time, and it’s funny to me that you probably also think you’re high and mighty because you’re masters or whatever.
And it’s even funnier to me that you’re literally out here talking trash and lecturing people like they’re children which is the most childish thing you can do in a forum for a game.
Stop looking for a reason to defend this new test as “I didn’t have to change my playstyle because I’m a high rank player” and look at it through the lens of the, as you put it, “average” player. When I guess average means dropping 30+ kills per match and literally carrying almost every match I solo que in.

you can play this game 10,000 hours and still be an average player, because when i say average i mean average skill level not average amount of personal investment.

Firstly, average has highly different meanings. Average looks different depending on where you look, if you were intelligent, you’d see that. You’re comparing apples to oranges by comparing someone who exclusively plays QP to someone who exclusively plays Comp, and when they wash out, they go to QP to ruin other people’s days.
Secondly, you didn’t hit any nail on the head. You’re creating a false narrative in your head that this was ever an argument instead of two people exchanging opinions, which is funny to me because it shows how childish you are. You probably came in with the new wave of OW players who defend everything the devs do because they cater to their comp players first and foremost, too, aren’t you?
Thirdly, you’re a joke and a bad one at that. I literally said I don’t play comp and you’re over here saying that I have to play 10 hours to get out of gold and that I don’t even need an hour a day to get diamond. Again, so much of it depends on team comp and game sense, but someone with a room temperature IQ like you wouldn’t understand that. You probably got hard carried and act like you did it yourself too, don’t you?
I think it’s hilarious that you get a kick out whatever it is that you do, man, but you’re one of the ones that I’d include in the “no-life” category. Given the fact that you’re responding to everything that everyone says on here and only insulting them because you can’t stand the fact that some people just want to play the game their way without having to worry about their playstyle being compromised by something stupid that the devs did.
