No offense but it’s not your teammates holding you back it’s all on you. I was low Gold for a while because I only 1 tricked Mercy, but I was able to solo climb to Platinum by carrying as Ana and Lucio. I’m not special, I’m just saying that if I did it then anyone else can.
If you’re DPS you have to carry and carry hard every match. If you’re tank, you have to learn when and when not to be aggressive while still protecting your team. If you’re support try and keep gold healing while also DPSing on the side, preferably without feeding.
Pick any self sustaining hero so you don’t need to rely on heals to do your job.

Don’t play team reliant heroes. Play Zarya, or Hog. Reaper, Doomfist, Tracer. Ana, Bap. Etc.
Bronze supports are terrible though, how are you gonna carry as any of those heroes with bad heals? Like only if you’re diamond or higher player can I imagine being able to somehow fight through bad heals and dumb teammates to a win, but if you’re a gold/plat player? Idk.

Play someone (preferably someone who’s good in bronze and utilize their kit right, such as Mercy damage boosting instead of healbotting or Reaper using Wraith to escape instead of engage). Bronze is a weird rank to be in and climbing is hard because no one has gamesense, widow dies constantly and supports can’t look behind them, but if you are a plat in bronze, you can climb. It just takes time and effort. Practice, not play
The OP is on PS4, so the reason why I suggested those characters is because on they are self sustaining (not so much Rein), and usually get picks.
On console (especially PS4) Pharah and Bastion rule all, even more so in bronze. I said Torb incase enemy has a Pharah, and he’s easy enough to get value with unaware enemies. Winston and DVA can jump in and out, Rein can swing, and Zarya is Zarya.
Only reason why I’m saying PS4, is because there’s next to no Keyboard & mouse users unlike Xbox
Because if your better then everyone else on the enemy team you have an advantage
use said advantage to win fights and games
We can start with the attitude.
It’s not just because of your team that you aren’t climbing.
If you refuse to look at what YOU can do to improve and instead just say how it’s your team’s fault, you’ll never get better.

I have actually played as genuine bronze before - I climbed to diamond.
My thoughts are that you are likely making mistakes that you are unaware you are making.
A silver player should be able to consistently beat a bronze player 1v1.
The way to climb in this rank as a DPS for me is simply:
- get good positions where you can consistently pick off the enemy team 1v1 without risking dying.
- if they start winning, identify why as quickly as possible and counter pick. Normally, they have one player that is good at the hero they are playing.
- never, ever, ever flame your teammates and don’t let others flame your teammates. They will only play worse or leave.
- if you find a good healer, duo with them.
“Get Good” enough to carry 5 other people on your back, and hope you don’t get stomped on by Smurfs along the way.
Good luck with that last part though, because it seems like LFG these days is literally just “Road to Bronze” people.
In my opinion, there’s no point in worrying about rank. This system is super broken. If Golden Guns interest you, then just do your best to win some games and get some points for those. If you don’t care about them, then just play QP or Arcade.

The answer is play heroes that are strong in bronze. Torb and sym are very strong because game awareness is poor and they make up for your own bronze aim skills.
As a support? Zen.
Soldier, Roadhog, Baptiste. Play them solo and frag out, ignore your team. you can heal and frag with these peeps.
But if they dont play shields, no heals is a lose.
LFG/Discord/Whatever… otherwise it’s a crapshoot. Need team mates in OW, it’s very difficult to climb solo.

Try to kill a Double shield Bastian ft. Mercy with Moira and Reaper camping, with 2 teamates throwing with Soldier.
