I think most people think Supports are strong.
I think even “too strong” is a common thing even around support players.
But… what can you do? you have to make their play “not garbage” somehow, and actually getting into the guts of it and making it fun is HARD.
Making them powerful and THEREFORE fun is an easier thing.
Trying to make them fun enough without making them really strong, is a more… difficult target.
