This guy wants to lower Genji’s skill floor even more until he’s easier than Moira. You might as well just skip to the end goal and ask for a permanent Zarya-style bubble on Genji so he can never die and gets to do anything he wants uncontested the entire match.

So should low mobility heroes get an even faster run because they can’t outrun it? Or is it only unacceptable and unfair when Genji doesn’t have the advantage in a matchup?

Any increase in speed would get overtuned if Genji is paired with any speed buff heroes

Lucio and Tracer have been able to do that since 2016. However did you survive the last 8 years. Blade is bad because of S9 changes, not because boop or mobility

no, not every hero should just fall before dragonblade, but no hero should be able to counter it with the ease they do now

Its the s9 changes WITH the boop and mobility

3 swings murdered blade, but even with 2 boop and mobility was still and issue. with 3 it just becomes a solo ult 100% of the time, unless you have any sort of buff or the enemy is already low(like low enough it wont matter).

The other ideas are being faster, making it cancellable(just so you can pop it to bait out an actually good ult), or making it 2 shot again(as it always has)

So he does not “get nerfed at every turn” if his one and final nerf was 2 years ago, with the ammo nerf already reverted… the projectile size buffs were huge for him, and he didn’t get his HP nerfed despite being mobile with a strong defensive option

Barrage is such an underrated ult

Of course you’re going to get deleted if you don’t flank with it. It’s one of the few dps ults where you can actually blow up a tank in like 2 seconds, or get 2-3 picks and trade

iirc it has a decent kills/10min ratio too

thank god they didn’t nerf him in a while (directly). Almost every new hero release is a nerf to Genji tho in most cases.
Ana was ok (except her sleep dart), reworked Sombra, dps Doomfist when he got released, Moira, Kiriko, Lifeweaver, Juno, Brigitte, Illari. All of these new supps have so many escapes and self healing buffs and damage that it feels dumb even going after them. Junker Queen, Sigma and Ramattra are strong anyway but not direct counters or nerfs towards Genji.
