I personally think she is the most annoying her in teh game. She was fine before super jump became free.
When someone says a hero sucks it’s reasonable to presume they are referring to performance, which is measured by performance metrics. And if performance metrics indicate that she is performing at least on par with other heroes, then she is objectively not bad.

since every hero has different performance metrics - Rein for example doesnt heal, and Mercy doesnt have a big ole hammer to hit you with - one can only compare the performance metrics of two characters subjectively
it is never an objective measure
I’ll give you a second to use your brain to think about which performance metrics you can use to compare different heroes.

She’s actually a support though. Sure when she rez’s someone it’s annoying but that’s what support heros should do. I find Bap and Illari who are basically just DPS with a some support abilities more annoying
Her rez is the single most balanced part of her kit. I think her movment is the issue. Rez only becomes annoying with her head spinning crap and superjump.
Her kit is otherwise fine, othough I’d give her some sort of agency with dmg just a bit, something like Lifeweaver, doesnt have to be full dps.
IMO she can have two of three things: Mobility, Damage Boost, or Survivibility. Pick and choose imo. All three is a disaster.
If she didn’t have the movement she would just be terrible though

Mobility, Damage Boost, or Survivibility. I’d start with removing her second form of self healing. Then she wouldnt be so hard to swat down. A damage boost highly mobile glass cannon would work well. Or alterantively a consistent healer that can stay alive also works, but she can’t have the utility with it.
as an ex mercy player they need to get rid of rez it’s holding back the rest of her kit

Given that she is imo one of the weakest characters in the game at the moment, I don’t see it as necessary to remove any of these abilities
She should be at or very near the bottom of any reasonable players list of characters to be nerfed

Given all of the severe restrictions on rez, I dont see it “holding back” her kit at all
Rez gets used far less often than it potentially can be largely because of the severe risks built into using it
resurrect is probably the most powerful ability CURRENTLY in the game if you rez the tank…
rez the raid boss and its good game most of the time or its VERY STRONG
one thing about mercy players is that a lot of them are not offensive minded. should never be passive if you see a low health player… JUST USE YOUR BLASTER TO FINISH THEM
a lot of them want to play the total passive playstyle tho
Agree, just like Reaper, she has been left behind with all the changes. The least the devs could do is put her GA back on a flat 1.5-second cooldown.
Or you could just throw Ana nade and your tank won’t die and theirs will

Given that it gets used around 4 times per match, has severe restrictions, is extremely risky to use, and it isnt always used on a tank, i dont really see the ability as hugely impactful

i dont hate mercy and never think negatively of her BUT when she is pocketing a leet dps or rez’s the tank in front of your clueless team it makes me really mad lol…
still her rez’ing a tank or any player can be attributed to low awareness of your team. also a low elo thing mainly… i try to keep an eye on it and as sombra most of the time (sombra main) i try and hack it
i rarely do it but man hacking mercy’s rez as sombra is probably the best feeling in this game

why do you think her healing hasn’t been bufffed, or damage boost, or ult
because people don’t want to play against a mercy that can make people very hard to kill, or extremely lethal, like when when she had 67.5hps, 30% damage boost and then also res on top of that kit

She is simply using her abilities, same as any other character
probably misunderstood… im not mad at her but at my team since they should be more aware. still mercy can rez in weird ways or use the environment for it.

i love mercy but yea i cant play her. she is not really offensive oriented… i rather play a support that does damage. moira is my go to support if i want to carry (low elo)
