ik, to be fair, it’s hard for blizzard to balance heroes on all ranks bc some heroes perform worse or better in different ranks. For example, df is extremely counterable at high ranks due to players, well, having a brain. But in <gold df is a very strong pick. What, blizzard should do is looking for heroes that are very strong in all ranks like mei, and nerf those heroes and vice versa. Just my opinion though.
It all could have been avoided with the serious toning down of brig in early goats meta. This is where a majority of players lost faith in the game. Ik I sound like a genji otp whose butthurt that my ot couldn’t be played, but I think it would have been for the better as OW was booming before brig.
The philosophy of balancing around the high end of ladder is that any player can “outplay” what’s OP at low ranks by becoming more skilled.
Obviously balance across the board is ideal, but when that’s not possible, it must be biased towards the top.
Also ladder is the keyword. OWL is a different beast entirely bc of hyper-coordinated practiced 6stacks.
As long as they add power back to other areas of their kits then I’d agree with you. Bap, Sigma and Moira can’t take anymore nerfs without compensation.
And revert the shield break cooldown nerf ffs. Having low regen keeps it balanced.
This is the primary reason why Orisa is unplayable at low ranks. And she’ll likely get nerfed again because double shield is so popular above masters. It’s beyond frustrating.
Well, duh. Nerf Moira’s damage orb and right click, buff her HPS and maybe give her some new utility connected to Orbs.
Give Bap more damage, tbh I think that playstyle was more fun for him then spamming heal nades 24/7.
Sigma needs to be pushed entirely into a main or off tank. The issue is he does both at the same time kind of. Good shield, good damage, good CC, good range, good self sustain.
Frankly, if they just made her right click more skill based then 90% of her complaints would vanish.
People won’t like this cause they’ll complain that he’s overshadowing other DPS (like 76). I’d buff the lamp’s HP by 50 in exchange for shortening the duration from 5 to 4 seconds.
I really like him where he is but if I had to choose I’d tone down the amount of shields that Grasp gives. Makes him a little weaker and easier to be dived. Again, I’d rather not touch him if at all possible.
I was just watching super’ stream and he got a question who is the most broken char and he also said Genji
Literally this post, 10/10
They buffed Genji too much.
You are always beating the same damn thing. I told you multiple times that Sym and Bastion need reworks which they just dont have the time for now due to OW2. You can buff them as much as you want but all u r going to achieve is the same hate you and the rest of the forums have against Genji being directed to those characters.
You shouldn’t because it’s just a game.
Every flying, close range, immobile and projectile hero not to mention each other
I think giving a hero 250 hp with alloy of it in shields will be a bi op, no other DPS/healer has that
Flying?
Genji can’t kill a pharah dude
First of all, he can, but mostly that list included hitscan. Let me tell you what that poster meant. These heroes do not hard counter heroes I care about so they hard counter nobody
I don’t see a genji nerf
So yes
Let’s stay loud until they listen
The only person on that list that can realistically kill a pharah is widow, mabye hanzo if he’s really good
Sym 1.0 was so lame & forgettable I’d consider her broken
But broken as in good? Nah
Has genji really made the game worse though? I honestly don’t see him that often and when I do its not that hard to shut him down if we need to, it’s not like with doomfist were he either runs through your team, or you switch to mcree and babysit the backline.
The only real problem is that they buffed his damage output but didn’t nerf his ult charge rate and made nanoblade to op.
