When there is no Ana, I hate those 3 tanks. Orisa, Mauga, and Hog are significantly harder to kill. 
I’m not a fan of Ana’s nade, either, but she keeps awful heroes like those 3 in check.
The fun of the tank role is at the expense of everyone else. The fun of everyone else is at the expense of the tank role. It’s why I don’t like 5v5.

If this were OW1, I’d agree, but OW2 post-rework? Pfft. About as interactive as Mauga mirrors.

There were hog counters - both teams ran mei. Their team ran junk. I think we had reaper or soldier (or both at different points in the game - can’t remember now).
Anyway, Ana is not the only hog counter, she is just the best by far.
And at the end of the game several people commented about how fun a game it was, not just the hog players. It was back and forth right to the end on a push map.
If Ana was to have nade nerfed then hog and mauga could also be nerfed and they would not be as problematic in some peoples’ minds as they are now, occupying that space rent free as they say.
She’s the bad guy in the sense that Hog and Mauga are balanced with the assumption anti-nade will be in almost all of their games, which is true. If anti didn’t exist then those 2 at least would get nerfed. Ana’s threat means they are buffed beyond where they should be.
Perhaps you should realise that hog players are willing to accept nerfs to balance him if nade was not there. Several hog players have already said so in discussions about nade. It’s not like we want nade gone and leave the affected tanks where they are. The game would be more fun with a weaker nade and weaker hog and mauga as a result.
Neither of those are counters.
One can certainly argue the case for Soldier, but Reaper is hard countered by new hog especially with the new headshot passive lol. (Seriously, did you see the Samito clip where he’s nano’d, damage boosted and on a solo roadhog who ends up killing him? Hilariously dumb but a great example of the problems with 5v5)
I agree. I was saying this all along when they butchered Hog while they struggled to come up with a way to powercreep him into the stratosphere like all the other tanks. But she is only causing this problem because of 5v5 lol.

Most of what you said is wrong - sure not hard counters, but those are still soft countreres, and reaper is not a hog counter but he is still strong into him if played well.
Like I said, you could argue Soldier, but the rest just aren’t and that’s the truth.
He should be fine into him, but he’s actually really terrible into him.
I had a game where no one was playing roadhog, but both teams were playing ana. And everyone said it was a great game.
I think its the roadhog keeping tank role down.

I don’t find Hog enjoyable to play, play with, or play against. If you can find where to get that skill let me know. But he’s always bored me to death.
Cool your opinion doesn’t speak for everyone on the planet. Just because you don’t find him fun doesn’t mean everyone doesn’t. Besides there’s worse tanks than him right now and he’s easy to deal with.
Indeed. But it does correlate with a majority of tank players. Who stopped playing in OW1 because Hog killed the buzz.

You have ANY evidence of this? Because otherwise you just made it up which, going by the other things you’ve said, I suspect is the case.
As far as I understand, things like double shield killed tanking in OW1.
Personally I love it when Hog, Mauga and Orisa are good. Dive tanks destroy all the fun for everyone besides heroes who aren’t affected by them, aka heroes with mobility.
At least with those tanks I know they aren’t gonna be trying to get up my a** every 5 seconds.

Personally I love playing Ana in dive metas because that’s where the highest skill expression is rather than the snooze fest of hog mauga and orisa mirrors
Did the “mirrors” apply to all 3 or just orisa? Because I almost never see a hog mirror. Hog is like Widow mirrors where one switches sombra: as soon as 1 hog asserts dominance, the other will switch to Mauga or Orisa. Usually within the first 2 fights. Very rare to see a hog mirror last longer than 2-3 fights.
On the other hand, Mauga and Orisa mirrors are entrenched for the game, unfortunately.
