Crouching does mask the sound of your footsteps. Not perfectly but enough with all the noise going around.
Okay that was weird, I got the bug on PS4 and was going to show you… but when I uploaded it to YT the sound suddenly played! I swear you can’t hear it on my console, I’ve listened several times already - what’s going on?
Edit* It’s the headset, it filters the sound suddenly for some reason
