I always felt that you shouldn’t be allowed to play a hero in comp until you have x amount of hours of them in QP. This would also cut down on smurfs.

Widow is abused by smurfs and you wont meet a Zen who can trance on time till Masters
Neither of these seems good enough reasons to deny people access to heroes in a game they payed for without subjecting themselves to the stress and time investment necessary to get to masters.

and this is the reason why i really don’t necessarily agree with having low and high mechanical skill characters aswell as requiring the same of gamesense etc.
if they all are as intense to the same degree then everybody will be equally bad as much as the others at the lower ranks and will improve and go up in rank naturally.
It isn’t hard to hit Q while in grav or other similar situations. I’m not saying low ranks do it as well, or that it doesn’t take skill, but the basic use can be learned fairly well below masters. The rest of his kit is a higher skill level imo and better suited to higher ranks

Shpuld Lucio not be allowed in master / gm. Couse Im not kidding was a Lucio main in my game today who instandly beats when he had beats or uses beats in the start of our puch.
That means we can also only allow people playing lucio in 4.4k just to be sure the wil beat properly

Every hero is played better in Masters than Gold, so let’s delete comp for anyone whose MMR isn’t high enough to be in Masters period. If your QP winrate isn’t 60%, you don’t belong in comp. /s
no, the level cap in ranked just needs to be much higher than 25, and no lower than 100
Yeah but that’s how I win. Sometimes some low skilled player on the other team insta-locks widow and they can’t carry her. But to be fair, it happens to my team equally as often.
The only complaint I think you can make is that if somebody is a high tier player on one account they can’t buy a new account and play widow in silver just for the lulz. But that argument happens about 18,446,744,073,709,551,6165 times a day in the forums and is still ignored.
It might be more but my brain is only 64bit.
U can not say that you never had a good Widow or Zen in your team, not being smurfs, just normal low rank players.
there is an easy solution…
BALANCE THE GAME.
people who want to lose on Ana can lose on Ana in gold. if the game were balanced, these Anas would settle to the SR where they belong and they could eventually get better enough to climb.
How it works now tho, is even if you belong in gold, you can play moira and let blizzard boost you to diamond.
of course this isnt only true of moira.
