I hope there is an option to see damage numbers (like in most RPGs)

100% agree on this. Ease of learning is no indicator of skill ceiling.

Speaking of this, did they even add new videos for the skills they have reworked in the past.

For what I know that needs to be updated:

  • Mercy needs videos on Resurrect & Valkyrie (both exist on website, but not in game)
  • Mercy’s original voice is heard in Hanzo’s Dragonstrike video (English dub)
  • Repair Pack’s video still shows it healing instantly and applying armour overheal
  • Level 1 Torb Turret is seen in Sombra’s EMP video

So many things need updating and I can only hope that’s gonna happen with OW2 (but I know they won’t).

Ah, documentation :smiley: The never ending struggle to keep everything everywhere updated to the most concurrent information possible. Man I hated that in a past job.

Junkrat’s Total Mayhem info shows a video of pre-3.0 Symmetra attacking him T-T

Also there are no videos on Mercy’s Rez.

Every single thing on there is wrong, watch the videos
Rein hammer dmg is wrong
Rein shield hp is wrong
Rein earthshatter duration is wrong
Ult charge from pin and fire strike is wrong

Plus no numbers on damage dealt, a secondary complaint

oh the vids, they don’t update those, Mercy still doesn’t have vids for their new abilities, I thought you meant the text itself

In the game does it not say it provides armour???

In game it says “Heals an ally for a short duration.” only nothing about armor

they updated it when it was nerfed, playoverwatch website is the only thing that stays inaccurate and its the only thing with all the vids even if vids are inaccurate cause they like never update the website’s information unless there’s a new hero or rework and even than it’s still very inaccurate as most characters with passives dont even have passives mentioned, Mercy’s regen, Brigs inspire, Bastion’s Ironclad, Reaper’s the Reaping, etc etc

The in game text stays pretty accurate even if it doesnt give specific numbers, the only real problem area is the videos but those arent very important tbh, I dont think I’ve seen a single new player actually look at the videos only older players wondering how funny it looks while bored
