Teams are going to coordinate around her teleporter the same way they coordinate around Mei walls.
Which is to say they wont.
I view her rework as a net loss.

one ability got changed… its equivalent to them giving sym the shield and barrier ult not not what they did to her with the current rework
my point remains the same though. after Hanzo,Sym will be the new hero that people will want nerfs on cause they’ll claim she’s “overpowered”

I remember seeing someone still asking for Sym to be nerfed when Mercy 2.0 went live initially(the same person also claimed their fave hero got destroyed but that’s a different topic), which was like…last summer I think?
I REALLY don’t want Sym to get the same fate Sombra got. I also don’t want the same to happen to Hanzo as well

It may be something greater but for other player base. Players who cherished symmetra for not having to aim will propably abandon her, like me. Im going back to main mei now
It’s actually a debated point and has changed throughout the era of modern English. Common use nearly always overrides “proper” grammar, spelling, etc.
“Hence why” may well be grammatically incorrect by old standard but is now so widely used and accepted it is a moot issue.
Now you idiots can grammarnazi at me all you want, but Hanzo is still OP and the statistics all show that. His win rate alone shows that and it STILL HAPPENS in games with NO BRIG.
Go ahead and defend him as much as you want but based off pure statistics he’s the best DPS in the game currently and by a wide margin.
I can understand being used to something for so long and it’s annoying or frustrating to get used to it again when it’s redesigned and force fed to you as being better…
After all… we are now on Windows 10. Something that still doesn’t feel necessary to me and makes me have to learn stuff all over again because Microsoft deemed it’s better to change how we know how to navigate the OS.

I think it’s not really true that she’s unrecognizable as a completely new hero. I’d be willing to bet that if they did do what you suggested, people would be saying that the new hero is basically Symmetra in theme.
People would see the teleporter and turrets and go “Oh Sym had a TP and turrets, it’s the same!” just like when people said Orisa’s ult is basically the same as Mercy’s damage beam and Halt is basically Graviton Surge.

you’re implying homegirl’s about to become an old and washed up 30 year old. 
But why didn’t Blizz do a Junkrat and just give her some straight up buffs.
The only time she’s ever received buffs was in the first rework, AND EVEN THEN, that was a double edged sword because she lost the ability to provide shields and tps at the same time.
Why has she been nerfed a dozen times, despite being f tier since tie immemorial?
I support the rework, but lets not pretend it was the only way. Blizz could have kept her kit the same and just buffed her to viability (or, ya know, just not nerfed an f tier hero over and over again in the first place). But here we are.

Players didn’t like playing against her, but said she wasn’t viable. These are two contradictory thoughts. I never liked playing against Sym, but I loved microwaving squishies and making shields useless with her secondary.
I will miss Sym. I’m not sure I will play hero 27.5.

She’s only popular because she’s the best main healer… 99% OF PEOPLE HATE PLAYING HER, ASK A MERCY MAIN IF SHE’S FUN TO PLAY AND IF THEY ENJOY HER, THEY’LL TELL YOU NO.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH. Amazing, perfect. Mercy has always been one of the least fun character in the game. “99%” amazing asspull number. Moira is still playable. And do you really think that Brain dead Sym is a fun character ? Not at all she is hated so much.
