The devs also willingly reached out and played with some new Helldivers creators, that’s what a dev should be, someone whose willing to reach out and ask for support from the players.
And the brand is in the toilet.
It literally saved WoW as it continually has had more players than retail. There was TBC, wotlk and WoW HC. Now seasons theme. All that success spawned from WoW classic and the player bases persistence.

Fostered by the (higher up) devs themselves. Especially certain newer ones with a lot of power that sit on twitter writing demeaning things while actively championing the worst balance changes that the game has ever seen since release.
Incidentally I think I figured out how to fix that.
Just cut the network connection on their game, without really disconnecting them, briefly turning their online match, to offline, then back to online.
Making it so a Kick is actually “all my teammates disconnected but I’m still playing”
And you still get rewards for playing.
Blizzard is actively griefing their user base
Because quite frankly if Blizzard actually put in some of this community’s ideas then the game would be even worse off.
You really don’t want your community dictating what goes in the game.

yes you do… that’s why other devs ask their communities what they would like to see in game…
If they would of buffed all the weapons everyone would of still used those two stratagems because they were the best in every situation and required no team work. It was the right thing to do.

Warframe, black desert online, to just name two other games… They both do livestreams on weekly base and answer questions and write down complaints/ideas etc…
Those games are both out for a decade now and still have player numbers that ow2 can only wish to get one day (Spoiler:They won’t)
That’s when u can tell the difference between a company that cares for their game and community and a game that only cares for money like Blizzard

WF is the one game/dev team I can say for a fact I’ll spend money to support until I, or the game, perish.

I believe the issue that people were being kicked for no reason / not having the right setup. However, if you remove the option to kick people then if the person keeps calling air strikes down on your team or similar activities then you are stuck them.
So not such an easy solution as you say.
It’s a 4 player PvE game, I don’t think it has the ability to get toxic apart from this issue they are trying to sort out.

Helldivers 2 may be a great game, and probably gets a lot of things right, many people love it and say it’s a blast to play, however, until they move to a different anti cheat program, I wont touch it. Too many articles saying the anti cheat they use is a bargain bin, bottom of the barrel anti cheat and is about the worst one a gaming company could use.
Kernel level access that gives a doorway for hackers to get into your files, and allows the developers full access to your system, has had complaints of the anti cheat randomly deleting files, or even erasing hard drives, and even bricking your PC, and if you try to uninstall it, you have a run a special uninstall tool to get rid of it, if you dont, even if you uninstall the game, the anti cheat stays on your system.
These are the things ive heard and read about the game, and it’s sad, because watching the gameplay footage, it looks like it could be a really fun game, but, at least for me, their choice of anti cheat has ruined any chance I will purchase the game.
Hopefully they will move to a more reputable anti cheat program.
Tbh, I feel like DRG is gonna outlast Helldivers. Same thing with Palworld, its the new game/trend, etc.

All which are completely false accusations made by cheaters who got caught cheating. It’s that simple. That’s the only thing that’s sad here.
Anti cheats won’t erase your harddrives, doesn’t delete files etc and won’t invite hackers to mess up your computer (There are far easier ways for hackers to gain access to your PC…) and they definitely won’t brick your computer.
Anti cheats are monitoring software and can’t do anything to any files other than scan and read processes to detect cheats, and kernel access level anti cheats are far better than other anti cheats.
