You want the support role to feel more useless then it already does. You understand that support is the second largest community in the game you would have an exodus far worse then tanks currently. Like support que times will literally feel instant and dps will be like downloading a movie on windows 95.
Why would you ever try to heal if your healing would not even be able to outsustain a single dps ?

No, I want a ttk change. High Heals does not a support make.
If the devs nerf healing watch them increase support Dps. I wonder how Dps would feel than knowing that a support can just as easily kill them instead of healing for 70 percent of the game.
Or leave. And new players might come in instead. Everyone has a preference
They would probably complain even louder than they do already, something along the lines how DPS are useless or what not, as they usually do.
If the whole game is like that, it wouldn’t be an issue. But you can also increase utility btw.
Healing is already lower across the board than it was in 2016-2017, making it lower won’t change a guaranteed kill/kill denial always having higher value than a chance at one.

Revamp the whole roster. Not just one aspect.
If theirs no high heals theirs no main healer. No main healer mains that tanks are just going to die. If theirs no main healer you have to give more utilty to Mercy, Bap and Moira along with cooldown reduction for ana.

If there’s no high healing, it would be unbalanced to have oneshots or very high burst, as we currently have.
No. But it would speed up the game as mistakes are more harshly punished and time to heal makes pushes more valuable.
Why not eliminate the support role all together just have dps and fat boy dps.
Personally a change like this would be a hard no for me. But out of curiosity, how would you change/buff their utility outside of antiheals (which would be even more insane - edit meant antiheal) or damage to make it worth playing?

No it wouldn’t. It’ll slow to a crawl as everyone needs to resort to peeking and poking because there is less chance of a brazen push ending in anything besides getting wiped.

We dropped mass Rez to speed up the game. Overtime is cut greatly to speed up the game

And I’m saying, step forward with a heal Nerf.
It’s balanced because the game as a whole is sped up. I’m not singling out mercy to have 30 hps, or a 50 dmg boost beam to speed up the game. You gotta go across the board
