Itâs also pretty fun having a Hog on your team and he goes on flanks and the enemy team have ults every fight after.

Iâm more sick and tired of hogâs cheap combo but while he overextend yet when he fails to hook still can survive. Were we not getting rid of such survivability when they murdered Brig?
I like to see hogâs âtake a breatherâ would get nerfed in a way that the healing would work as a slower heal over time for the same amount of health instead of an instant heal. So this way he can more effective get punished if he miss a hook.
Hog should be a tank not a healer just as much as Brig should be an healer instead of a tank and got nerfed big for it.
relatable, that is why I lower all my tanks sr to metals, so even throwing on hog while farming tickets, I win these matches, cause how op that stupid hero is.
Widow does have simlair space controling like tanks. But unlike actual tanks, widowâs low health pool means she can be killed very easily too. So its not exactly like a tank.

Hog exists before rolequeue, and everyone had the same problem with him, so itâs not just due to DPS dodging queue.
Hog is what happens when Tanks dont have free values and have to work to earn victory.

They should at least buff Hog´s hitbox - so his fat belly would be like a shield. So many times I instinctivly hid behind Hog from Diva bomb and ofc it didn´t help. How awsome it would be, if it actualy worked?

The biggest issue is, like Reddit Lucio, a crowd around the character has convinced themselves that they need not attend to proper tanking, that their âvalueâ is off on wild solo quests during a match. They skulk about, getting backline picks on support/dps while their team is off working over the group who is down a tank but they are facing two. What utterly kills me is then Hog players ragging on Supports âI HaZ GolD HeALzâ when their is no tank near to peel for them

Flanking roadhogs are a problem, but same thing with just about every hero played by someone trying to be a solo carry hero. It doesnt work, but they keep trying regardless.
Good thing they are hardstuck in gold at best, so they are hardly ever in my matches.
The single biggest issue with roadhog is that people have deluded themselves that he is some kind of brawler, when he is the single worst tank for that situation. Roadhog has always been a poke hero, even in the days when he was the bridge between defense and tank.
Roadhog has a lot of health, and a way to mitigate damage, but that is purely short term, for you to survive long enough to get back to cover.
If you are playing roadhog and you are out in the open, switch off, alt f4, uninstall.
Hog is great when youâre not just eagle eyeing one person on the other team. Especially if you have to go out of your way every time to find them. Not just that he can easily soak up strong abilities like storm arrow by just standing in front of Hanzo, Junkrat, etc⌠as long as his self heal is available he can do a lot for a team. More than he ever could before.

Roadhog players who set off on solo adventures, and try for kills when their team canât take advantage of the elim, are usually a detriment to their team. They are frighteningly common in the precious metal ranks.
A Roadhog who hangs with their team and peels, or times their flank so their team can follow up on kills, is a great asset to many team comps.
It goes way beyond that these days.
