yes the game is filled with them and ximmers now
But Elden Ring is a multiplayer game, it even has a sweaty PvP scene?
There isnât a positive to a controller in a game like Overwatch versus mouse and keyboard.
I agree with your initial comment though, if people really care about people using cheat software that much they should move to console. Even Ximmers are nothing compared to proper cheats found on PC. Itâs not perfect but itâs lots better.
They are basically correct though, you cannot just permanently âwinâ over cheat developers, itâs cat and mouse like someone else said above. Besides, you are currently grinding your way out of Bronze where there are hardly any people using cheat software (and even if a small minority are they arenât very good with them still) so this subject shouldnât be of much concern. Focus on your gameplay and you can improve and there are many people who will be willing to help with that if youâre willing and open.
Well, I didnât start this topic having anything to do with my personal gaming situation, I was just genuinely curious if hacking in video games is never going to be solved. I.E., there will never be a software company who will ever be able to foil it once and for all. Seems the consensus is, no, it will always be here.
There is solution out there like https://www.anybrain.gg/
You should watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkmIItTrQP4
Those solutions is just not implemented in ow
game companies are chosing to NOT take the hardcore approach and prosecuting or suing cheaters.
Maybe if they would actually record the playerâs ISP location and send a court summons to said address of said cheater and they are presented with a summons to appear before court in a lawsuit, after a private investigation of each cheater. it would put an end to that very quickly.
Blizzard still knows
1 . Whoâs on whoâs Internet Service provider.
2 . They can easily ask that ISP more information about whom was addressed to that location, that day.
3 . After the investigation and they can concur that the customer was infact a person that was actually cheating. They can talk to their attorney and decide to sue for damages of said person. If they prove beyond the reason of all doubts, that the person was infact doing something that they witnessed after a substantial amount of gameplay footage REVIEWED by a board of HUMAN directors (not AI).
Then they can establish penalties for damages and seek restitution. Starting with various options:
- Unsupervised person(s) under the age of 18 using an electronic device to commit a crime or render damages.
- civil restitution against the person in the amount of 1,000-15,000 dollars in damages.
- use of an electronic device to disrupt game services and normal operations of the computer system.
what might help is a subscription model for a separate competitve mode where rules are more strict and if someone is cheating they get insta banned. youâd also need a phone number to subscribe and it would be bound to face it league for tourneys and earning points.
Iâve always been an advocate for a subscription model, but Iâd be in the minority I feel.
If they could guarantee a great experience, balance, and stay on top of the cheating, Iâd pay a monthly sub for something like that.
