Marvel looks like a cash grab, at least Gigantic is out and it’s (suppousely) good.
Not sure if it has any future but should be fun for a bit.
But it’s not complicated in comparison to these two. You have abilities and you capture an objective. The basics are pretty easy. These games the basics are complicated and unexplained.

It is not any better than paladins.
you are just being spoiled from playing OW since beta.
Even the streamers they pay to play have no idea how OW works.
Those are issues with mobas in general: crap-ton of info and few tutorials.
Every one I’ve played has been trial by fire, but I kinda like that.

they are moba first games, overwatch is a fps first game 
I do and I don’t. I don’t mind strategies being trial by fire. And grinding through to get better. But UI comprehension shouldn’t be trial by fire to me.

Which now makes sense why Overwatch is better than those games. They basically streamlined the complicated moba in a semi complicated FPS. I’ll try

I just got it installed. It’s quite good. More like smite with the pace of OW. The shooter heroes are very shootery, and the tanks are very MOBAy
Doesn’t look anywhere near as good as Overwatch. Same for the Marvel hero “shooter”, just wannabes.
Gigantic I’ll pass on since it costs $
While I’m almost certain that Marvel’s Rivals will flop, I’m not sure about Gigantic…it looks like it’s potentially going to be a good game. But I’m not sure what genre it will become a competitor to, MOBA FPS like Overwatch, or third-person MOBA like SMITE? It definitely looks way more fun than SMITE though.

It is not a new game. It was f2p and already got killed by OW once.
The concept of re-releasing a dead game as b2p is just ridiculous to me (especially if you can’t paly it if the servers shut down again)
In its defense it was also an xbox exclusive before. Was not in a great position. I’d be happy if the community stays small and healthy.
Games getting a second wind or becoming successful after a failed or even unreleased first game are not unheard of.
Overwatch is one of them.
So I wouldn’t write them off unless the game genuinely looks bad.

Yea I am installing it, should be able to try it this evening after all my chores are done. Won’t have time to play much any time soon unfortunately, so the little bit has to do lol.
Looks like a fun game, even through I am guessing it won’t get any popular because there is close to no marketing. Should be entertaining at least for a bit, artstyle and music is great !
It is the same game but just b2p now. What chances does it even have? It got only 5k peak at launch.

It has like a zero marketing, so it’s not a surprise.
Doesn’t matter though if the game is fun and there is enough people to play with. Iv been playing Planetside 2 since it came out ages ago, and it’s still fun even with a small player base.
If its fun for a bit then I am gonna give it a go.

Battlerite & Battlerite Royale got shut down even though it was a good game that many enjoyed. Some good games get shut down due to various reasons. I’d still play Battlerite if it ever gets re-released.

Even is more ppl play it, the model is just unsustainable for an always online game. They don’t have the budget to release free content for 3 years + 2 more for skins like OW1 did.
