Hanzo theoretically can do way too much

let’s not forget no need to reload

He is still C- tier thanks to tanks existing and half the support roster negating anything he could even do.

I don’t think hanzo’s op like others do, but you can’t say the hero is C tier, he’s clearly at least A tier

What do you call a DPS player with 30% accuracy that is actually winning games.

A Hanzo main. :upside_down_face:

any projectile hero really

Oh I know, I still gotta speak the truth even if they feel otherwise.

He said it, he said the thing!

He is C- because most of the player base would only ever get lucky to do anything with him at all.

No, it’s not harder, neither easier than Mercy

Hanzo is a “semi-sniper” with less power concentrated on his bow that Widow, who is more of a Glass-Canon.

Hanzo skill is shown in the aim of the player, while Mercy skill is shown in Game Sense, as she is one of the characters that requires most of this skill in the entire game, as she isn’t designed to fight directly the enemy unless she’s cornered.

Mercy abilities are “easy” because the player needs to focus on flankers, and who to give healing, damage boost and WHEN.

Ana works in the same way, but instead of “which teammate should I boost”, you think 'Can I shoot this enemy instead of healing?".

In this case you can compare Ana to Mercy because their objective is the same, but they do it differently.

But comparing Hanzo with Mercy? Oh please, at least compare him with Baptiste, who actually can, (and needs to be) played like a DPS.

Stop thinking that shooting things is the only thing Overwatch has going for it…

So can Junkrat. Still waiting on nerfs for them

Hanzo is broken. There has never been a sniper so brokenly op in any FPS game ever.

Storm Arrows should NOT headshot.
His bow SHOULD have a minimum range.
His shots SHOULD lose accuracy if he’s moving while firing.

Other FPS games that have a bow & arrow sniper have one that has its proper strengths and weaknesses. Here, ours gets to jump around in your face and land point blank body and headshots.

He has zero weaknesses a sniper should have. At the very least, if he is to remain as is, he shouldn’t be able to headshot. His bodyshots are more than powerful enough.

nope. imo hanzo is a middle of the pack hero in terms of difficulty, fairly difficult, but not so much so that the average player can’t do decently with them. I’m only plat and I can do pretty well with hanzo. he isn’t some ultra skillful gm only hero where you need to be a god to use him

Bro I can run battle mercy in plat and still do well. Everyone moves more predictably in lower ranks, of course its possible to still do well with hanzo in lower ranks. Hanzos value starts to show at higher ranks where aim and prediction alone is simply not enough to dominate with.

that’s exactly my point:that’s how it should be, and how it is. hanzo isn’t bad at lower ranks because player’s movement is predictable, and hanzo isn’t bad at higher ranks either, whereas the person I was responding to said that hanzo is bad for most of the playerbase, which simply isn’t true. also I’m going to assume the bit about battle mercy was hyperbole because you really couldn’t win with battlemercy in plat

The mercy thing was a joke lol. But yeah I agree with you about Hanzo, the character is honestly fine.

As well as any hero in the entire game. If you don’t land a headshot you still give value, hanzo hanzo happens to do more but has tiny projectiles and the lowest projectile speed

Low skill floor low skill ceiling.

The only skill ceiling thing is the superjump techs and its not even hard to do the only other thing I can think of is target priority but I wouldnt call that skill ceiling because most characters have to have target priority.
