Hanzo is kind of underrated in this meta

I think he has a good match up against Sojourn, since he can oneshot her without cooldown in her own effective range. He has good shield break potential against Winston with storm arrows. He can burst down Hog outside of hook range. His dragon covers Kitsune rush to counter Kiriko. Hes just inconsistent because of his projectile nature.

if by underrated, you mean that ppl arent demanding he get nerfed excessively like sojourn, i guess so. he isn’t the flavor of the month. there are plenty of other effective heroes than just sojourn.

Not just talking about nerf discussions. He just isnt mentioned at all as if he isnt relevant.

hanzo still feels really good, i got 3 headshot in a row the other day, his ultimate builds up very fast…hes basically the same strong hero hes always been. maybe ppl are just used to him.

I really don’t think he needs a nerf, In MY opinion he’s very balanced, but very neglected, despised and underestimated by the community and OW2 team

The problem with Hanzo is that it is extremely difficult to consistently land headshot arrows especially against better players and if you can’t do that he isn’t that strong. Good luck nailing a good Sojourn using her slide and leap against you.

I wonder why, in the age of ADADADA spam, flankers, mobility and no CC. Hanzo is a sitting duck for all the meta heroes. I am doing the worst with him right after tracer.

Consistency has always been Hanzo’s limiting factor. He has the longest ranged OHKO in the game, but it’s nature as a projectile puts a limit on it’s real effective range. Even characters who don’t oneshot at all can put out more consistent damage.

Widow is even better, and she can hit sojourn more consistently

Hanzo has always been rightfully rated poorly, other than just after he got his rework and for some reason in the end of OW1, hes also one of the worse DPS at the moment, hes far too easy to dive and is much weaker/less consistent than Sojourn in general in the medium-long range category.
