I explained my reasoning, and you are incapable of refuting it. So I do not really care about an opinion you aren’t willing to put out there that you assume is shared amongst the laymen.
I’ve refuted it perfectly. I gave you examples of why statements you’ve said are incorrect.
yeha right that game is getting hellish complaints of it running like crap
Whatever you say. I think once you reach the second grade and are capable of making venn diagrams, that perhaps you will change your mind. Until then, tata for now.
Acting very childish.
Congrats! have fun come back if you like, if not no problem.
The game isn’t even out yet. It quite literally has not gotten content, the base game isn’t out. When it launches, it’s launching without basic features of the franchise – campaign co-op and forge.
All I keep hearing about it now is peeps hopping lobbies and not playing objectives because they’re trying to rank up the craptacular challenge based battle pass, idk tho.
The battle pass system in infinite is horrid, take fortnite you play for an hour and you get a load of levels. I’ve played infinite for over 10 hours and am only at level 8.
like content creator, content
That’s any new game. That’s not a sign of quality, it’s a sign of newness. Cyberpunk 2077 has had more “content” (by your definition) than any other game in the past decade.
your right on that one
Tell me you just parrot streamers and YouTubers without telling me you just parrot streamers and YouTubers:
I mean, by that definition, Netflix is a better game than Overwatch, Halo: Infinite or any other game ever.
Most people prefer to play their games though.
“A lack of things to create content about” is a problem for what, 1000 people in the Overwatch community?
Don’t get me wrong, a lack of game content is an issue, but unless you’re a streamer, quit parroting them. You also always have the option of… just doing something else. Your livelihood doesn’t depend on playing Overwatch for 8 hours a day. The game is likely also way less stale for you - for the exact same reason.
really? i have yet to see a single bit of new content
I heard the game is in beta rn and is free. Will the final thing be f2p too?
I only needed to play a single game to see and know that the game isn’t fun. Nothing will ever truly compare to OW lol.
sadly my pc can’t run it, I played a few games with friends but after that maps wouldn’t load, it was alright, ow still scores higher in my eyes
its not hard to be better than Overwatch if you don’t balance and update your game
halo is the same generic fps it was 20 years ago. it has added nothing since then
Thus far, yes. But feedback is pushing back on it and we’ll see if the Campaign version of the game has some additional cosmetics as advertised.
Yeah, and IIRC, it’s also the one hailed as the best multi-player. Although I seem to remember Reach having some kind of loadout system.
Still miss playable Elites, though.
Overwatch is lightyears ahead in TTK, and general pacing.
Yes and no. Some weapons allow it, and depending on the older games, it’s easier to deplete shields if you aim for the head.
Agreed. It is terrible.
Getting a 26 kill streak and some 14 medals in a single game only nets me 50 experience on a 1,000 experience required for level up is deflating.
It’s added quite a bit since the original Halo, and 343i has added a number of features since then to keep the formula fresh. Grappling hooks, repulsors, new grenades a number of new weapons; new vehicles; etc.
Halo is not a twitch-focused game like Overwatch game be. TTK is Halo is meant to be significantly longer and fights are intended to be a little more strategic. Overwatch is intended to be very fast-paced and reactionary and even twitchy to some degree. Current Overwatch balance has slowed the TTK immensely from its days at launch, but weapon handling and consistency have improved. It still doesn’t feel as strong as Halo’s gunplay (and most especially, Halo Infinite’s); but there are several aspects here that work better in Overwatch that Halo Infinite has yet to employ or seems unwilling to.
Sound design, for example, seems quite a bit lower in Halo Infinite than in Overwatch. You can’t hear footsteps or vehicle sounds. Enemy weapon shots are almost completely muted. I guess this is where you’re supposed to rely on Radar, but that doesn’t seem to be working very well. At the moment, hit detection seems a little poor, or it could be some de-syncing issues going on. There’s a huge lack of collision in Halo Infinite where their used to be in previous games. Overwatch feels better in this respect, a better sense of weight differences is also more apparent in Overwatch over Halo Infinite.
It is, again, beta so maybe they’ll improve some things. But overall, Halo’s gunplay still feels a lot better than Overwatch’s. But OW2 has every opportunity to improve that.
